i listen to music and i have mids and highs but i prefer spl more than sq. and the btl is over my budget and its not one of my options. and i can't sell my dls coz my budget will be short to buy a new one. i just want more bass... why is the bl with no additional options not included in your choices?? thanks man!

i see, il just tell my installer to make the best box for me. but i can get the p chamfer right? coz it doesnt change the power handling of the sub right? it just lessens the pressure?? nad it is recommended by fi so i think i gota get it right??

i see thanks, ill just make things clear, so ill go to the standard BL 12" without additional options.. thats what you're trying yo say right? and make a larger enclosure? like how big???

then what will be ideal for my amp(dls a6)???? aside from the Q because its for SQ. will the ssd 12" with the additional options(flatwind coil and bp) be ideal?
-
Thanks! is it safe?? nothing will get burned or something?? coz someone told me to get a standard Q without bp options. but it's not one of my choices coz i want is spl, and the Q is for SQ. and he also told be that my amp is not ideal for the BL. so i got worried coz something might happen to my amp. what do you think? thanks again!

do you think my amp(dls a6 1200watts @ 1 ohm) can power the bl 12" with the additional options(chamfer and flatwind coil) efficiently???
-
thanks man, i already looked at it, i think i'll go for the bl 12" and get the dual 2 ohm, chamfer, daily, universal, and flatwind coil. as ive said in my previous post i 'am just worried if my amp(dls a6 ultimate series(1200 watts @ 1 ohm)) will power power the bl with the additional options i chose. do you think it will power the bl 12" with the additional options i said above???? thanks i 'am also waiting for the response of sir nick and the other pro's of fi. thanks everyone

you mean the BL????? i just want to maximize what i have.... and at the same time i dont want anything to break down.. if i want to add the additional options on my bl 12" (flatwind coil, chamfer) will my a6 power it efficiently? and i will choose the daily, dual 2 ohms, and universal. thanks sir Nick

if i will buy the bl 12" and have the dls a6 amp will you recommend me to get the flatwind coil option? you said that if my amps power is over the rms you recommended then it a wise decision to add the additional options but if i take the bl, its rms is 1000 watts plus the additional option and i have 1200 watts will it be sufficient?? will it be a wise decison? or i'll just get the ssd and just get the additional options?? or get the bl without the additional options??? i just need to make the best decison here... thanks everyone!

The A6 is good for 1200 watts (rated) at 1ohm. I would recommend getting the standard Q with no BP option. This amp is stabel to 1 ohm, so if you do a single sub, get the dual 2ohm voice coil configuration. The A6 is a bit strong for a single ssd without adding options. You really could go either way. My first suggestion, in my opinion, would be your best route. I am not sure what the exact weight of the ssd 12 is, sorry. Regards, Chris thanks, i will only get the dual 2 ohm voice coil configuration and no other additional options. is that what you are trying to say? but you said that my dls a6 is a bit strong for a single ssd 12 inches without additional options?? sorry, just want to make things crystal clear. i' am a bit confused lol. i am just new here so i am sorry if i am asking these questions. thanks chris thank you for the weight, ecromeans

sir, i need help in deciding because i saw scotts post and he said that the bp is just needed by those who want to push their sub to the limit. i just want to get the most out of my sub and i want to get the flatwindcoil. im just having trouble with the bp. because scott said that it doesnt matter. would i get the bp option?? i have a dls ultimate series a6 amp. and i dont plan on getting a extra battery. ill just change my wiring gauge. if i get the bp will my stock battery be enough?? and whats the weight of an fi ssd 12 inches??? thanks
