2dcons sealed vs 1 gcon ported

build a ported box for your current sub. if you like it then dont upgrade. if you want more output get a gcon or icon and sell the dcon.

    Box critique?

can the sub properly vent into the cabin while down firing like that?

    BIG 3

ya it pretty flexible. get some string and measure out the length of the wire you will need. give your self a little extra for slack

    BIG 3

the big 3 is required when running that much power. though it might not be enough on its own to stop dimming (voltage drop). that would depend on the music your listening to and other factors. you would want to use 0 gauge. i'm not sure where the best deals are but a favorite has always been welding cable (copper is copper). the stuff from knukonceptz that you were looking at is CCA (copper clad aluminium). they also sell OFC copper cable which is more expensive. i would recommend ofc copper like the welding cable im listing below. https://weldingsupply.com/cgi-bin/einstein.pl 1/0 for 2.45 a foot. http://www.wireandsupply.com/product_p/wc-1-fslash-0-01.htm 2.35 a foot

    Welcome to the IHoP

So, i need to replace the ac/dc transformer used to charge some drill batteries. The output rating of the transformer is 18v dc 200mA. Will it be safe to use a new transformer with a higher amp rating? my choices so far are a 300mA for ~$20 or 600mA for $10. http://www.altex.com/18VDC-300mA-AC-to-DC-Power-Supply-MW1830-P146125.aspx http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-EA-MAGNETEK-AC-ADAPTER-MODEL-WDU18-600-OUTPUT-18V-DC-600mA-TRANSFORMER-18V-DC-/130832571924?pt=Multipurpose_AC_to_DC_Adapters&hash=item1e763a9e14

Anybody? my parents have a edenpure unit in our "sun room". the room isn't heated so its turned on occasionally. so we're not trying to cut costs or anything. reviews of edenpure seem pretty bad though.

possible free adobe creative suites 2 - http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html There was a response from adobe that it wasn't suppose to be free to everyone. not sure why its still available. still downloading it myself. it's old software but i might mess around with it some.
  14. you could remove the spare and build the box in the spare tire well. maybe throw the spare back in the trunk when your going on long trips?

  17. ba gt 2125 http://www.sonicelec...cs-GT-2125.html i would get the svc 4ohm and later if you add another dcon you can wire it to 2ohm at the amp for 600rms. no need to worry about class d vs ab.

  21. double check my shit. been awhile since i booted up autocad... also my design probably could be better, more 45s in the port to reduce turbulence, etc.
