Certainly without math, or computer modeling. Physic, what a fucking joke right?

car failed inspection. kinda forgot to get an alignment done after replacing a tie rod end... killed the front tires. In my defense, i forgot to get the alignment because i was pounding Vicodin after breaking my collar bone.

need the pro's for this one

play tones and measure voltage. if there is any filtering the voltage will drop. -

can't the jl clean sweep sum the channels? -
Yeah there are several spots for an optional "Alpine 9 channel" upgraded system. Included in that are 4 6x9's in the doors. 4 empty 3" slots - 2 in the front and 2 in the back dashes - and an empty slot for a center, and an empty slot for an 8" sub in the back dash. I don't know how to find out if the HU does or not. I was just going to use some Line-out's to the amps regardless. That miniDSP thing looks very interesting. I guess I have been out of the game for a while. I am just trying not to spend a ton of money on this. I would be willing to throw down $100 for the miniDSP, run active if I can get some good mids. Are there any 7" mid will sound better than the Morel's or the Focal around that same price. I'd rather run a $25 mid installed right with good processing setup well than ANY of the 6x9's you listed. Duly noted. Ever used Peerless Nomex mids? At $57 it seems they are right around my price range. before we start talking which mids would work you need to measure the max mounting depth.

Wiring RF 4x6 with RF P1T-S Tweets PLS HELP!

i would recommend not buy anything that you've listed -
the dustcap might not be glued down properly.
-
very simple to use two subs in one box. just double the recommended size for a single sub, the internal volume would be shared (no separation required). on the other hand, if the box is to be removable then you might have an easier time removing 2 separate boxes.

i was thinking about getting a volt meter for that reason. Is that a good idea or a waist of time? volt meter for what?

get some string and measure it out.

I was working through the noise troubleshooting guide that is sticky'd in the amplifier section. seem's like the rca's were picking up alternator whine or maybe its the fuel pump? Bit surprising, i figured alt whine was caused by a bad grounds..

Can this method be used for setting the LPF? Yes, method is exactly the same except you would obviously want to have the LPF set at maximum instead of minimum when measuring the first voltage and then turn the knob down until you achieve the calculated target voltage. Will also say that the .707 only works properly if the filter is a butterworth. If it's LR then the multiplier would be different. Do you have idea what type of filter do the SAZ line from Sundown use? Me : Can I just use the method above with 707 ? In the example above it changes from 2.0v to 1.414v not 2.0 to 1.9 So who is right? iirc buttersworth cut off frequency is at the -3db point while LR is -6db. so .707 for BW and .5 for LR.

ya it will work

Can this method be used for setting the LPF? trying to set the ssf to a specific frequency? you could do it quicker by ear if you have someone turning the knob while your listening to the sub play a test tone.

only have room for this, wish i had space for this
