  1. anything in that power range will require you to do the big 3 at the very least. i doubt any have a significant advantage over the other. not like you could even hear the difference between a couple hundred watts anyways.

http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/keyboard-accessories-2/cherry-mx-rubber-switch-dampeners.html you can use them on any mech keyboard with mx switches. might be worth trying them out.

    upgrading my above bass frequencies?

Yes and no. From the graph, with a little bit of algebra, Qes and Qms can be calculated. Once Qes and Qms are calculated one can calculate Qts using the formula (Qes * Qms)/(Qes + Qms) i'm familiar with those formulas but I was curious if the Q of the resonance calculated with Fs / half-power bandwidth corresponded to either Qes, Qms, or Qts.

    Amp for $250 WTB

i think they phantoms are the top of the line for ppi right now but i dont think they make a ~2000 watt mono phantom

They are loud but you get used to them. My girlfriend complains if I type while she is trying to sleep though. have you tried the o rings out?

    Finding the perfect Sub

The Dcons aren't avail. right now, do you mean the Gcon? oh didn't know, used dcon/gcon would be my suggestion then

Not sure if you are referring to him or me.Nor do I see what damaged taste buds have to do with cooking in general. I mean if in general you don't like to eat, then sure. basically that

    upgrading my above bass frequencies?

nope, bad idea. check the wiki article on constructive and destructive interference. if you need to gain output you need to do it with 1 set of speakers. I think you need establish a baseline quality install (like everyone is suggesting above) then you can ask questions like do i need more output and so forth.

I've heard that smoking cigs damages your taste buds or inhibits them. So if you can't taste a difference then I see his point. I have a similar problem with taste and smell due to allergies.

    Finding the perfect Sub

build quality on the Fi is probably better than the sundown. Fi manufactures their subs here in the US (which is a selling point in it self). choosing between the x and ssd would come down to how much power you're planning to run. personally i would save some cash and get a dcon. put that spare money into the box or more importantly, sound deadening. doesn't matter how loud you're friend's type R is when everything is rattling around. but if you're planning to upgrade power and so forth later a X or SSD would allow for that.

    upgrading my above bass frequencies?

hijack: Is the Q factor of the resonance in the impedance graph the Qts?

I need tweeters; but how would I wire?

what are the tweeters for exactly? you already have tweeters in each set of coax, why are you trying to achieve? buying more speakers or wasting money on expensive amps won't improve anything.

    Finding the perfect Sub

if you dont push it too hard the dcon will be fine on that power. or buy a single 4 ohm dcon (add a second one later). more importantly you'll need to build a proper box for whichever sub you buy and by the sounds of it you should go ported.

Dome keys are harder on your tendons. They must reach their maximum travel to engage the switch. The rest is personal preference really.Shorter throw usually, wears better and lasts longer. So there is some performance and value to it also. Can be less resistance when you key depending on the type of Key. I think I want Cherry brand Reds, softer with no mid stroke detent so you cab "double tap faster". The blues have a mid stroke detent than you can feel. The detent is felt and heard to signify the point where the switch in the key actuates so you can release the key before ever coming to the bottom of the keys travel. Less jarring and so typists love that style. I never ever once thought of my tendons, but of course now my keystrokes are less than a gamer, but still a lot. They make them in Ergo? http://www.anandtech.com/show/7245/ergodox-review-an-ergonomic-mechanical-keyboard-via-massdrop

i might pick up the o rings if i find the keys bad for gaming. they shorten the activation distance and quiet the clicking.
