How much is he asking for it? I glanced around but couldn't find it. That place just makes me ill. 600k for all the sites he owns.

diyma is for sale. guess oatmeal is big business

the sundown wont net you any audible output gains. theoretically it would 1.5db but you wont see that much.

nexus 7 gen 2 now works with timurs. nothing for the 10" iirc. I'm curious if you can charge via pogo on the nexus 10 and still access data over usb. edit: nope

wow, US acoustics is making amps again. http://usacousticsca.com/index.html strange names for the amp models. I picked up a couple of the usx amps from this guy on ebay before. http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-Acoustics-4-Channel-Amplifier-/171370794449?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item27e67ecdd1

so you need ~10" 4:3 touchscreen that doesn't suck

http://www.mini-box.com/M2-ATX-160w-Intelligent-Automotive-DC-DC-Power-Supply seems you can set that kind of functionality with this and maybe settings change in windows. ignition on - pc boots up, ignition off - pc hibernates or sleeps or whatever.

dont think a delay would be needed.

Not trying to be a smart ass or anything but the description says: "You can shorten system boot-up time to 2-seconds* for a smoother user experience under Windows 8, and even previous versions of Windows." So I'd say around 2 seconds. You could probably use the sleep / stand by function to shave off a little more time but more importantly your stuff would still be open from the last time you shut it off. They say that about their BIOS meaning you may need a faster mobo/pc or the like. That is how I found it first, but If it power cycles it'll be hard to resume...or it'll kill my battery? Thinking headunit for the Esky... hibernate would work. Hibernate on the power being pulled? I'd need some delay circuit?mp3car is such a fucking fuck show you can't find donkey dick there. Frustrating. it just writes the current state to harddrive and shuts down. then boots into that state the next time you turn it on. http://www.pcworld.com/article/2016932/how-to-enable-hibernate-mode-in-windows-8.html

nope, either try a high tuning in the current box or save for 15s.

genius

8th grade geometry should suffice
-
i would look at other options first. moving the enclosure around in the trunk. for example, move it all the way to rear of the trunk, firing towards the license plate. reset the gainchange xover pointseq the response (no boost. eq down the high end)add polyfill if you haven't already
-
the box will be completely different than the recommended as they only correspond to the non-high Qts version. Whats the issue with the current sealed enclosure?
-
the ratio business is also BS. what are you trying to achieve?
-
nope just some bullshit that spread around the internet.
-
12s in a bandpass wont gain output over a conventional ported box.
-
Looks great!

no its bullshit

10" sub for sealed box .5-.7cu ft, 5.25" deep or less.

sounds good. i would pick up some CCF to decouple all the panels around the sub enclosures. i assume they'll be prone to rattle the most. -

this is what i ment by going to the spl display. i threw in that shallow alpine type r, which isn't that great it seems, and a dcon 10 in a ported box. when you include cabin gain the frequency response of the ported sub will have a hugely exaggerated low end (so people enjoy this). while the sealed systems will be closer to a flat response. i modeled the jbl gto 8" (2 per box) vs the sundown and its pretty much a wash. less than 1db difference isn't audible. someone mentioned a 15" sealed in the spare tire well. here is a xcon 15" on 1500wrms in 2.2cuft VS 2 sd10-2 on 1000wrms the strength of the xcon 15 is that you could tailor the response to your liking and still have spl to spare compared to the 10" options.
