Every time i start up my car, the sundown starts up but then goes straight into protect. I have the SAZ3K. I used an additional head unit to make sure it wasn't the signal. Without the RCAs plugged in and without the speaker wires plugged in it still did this. Here is a picture of the only thing i could find WRONG internally in the amp. Its also really loose when you go to touch it. Thanks for the help, Curt

I would get your tuning frequency and box volume from a different calculator and then just use the dimensions from the calculator you used onto the RE calculator to print out the cut sheet. The cut sheet is pretty much the most resourceful thing on there. I know SSA has a calculator (sorry to lazy to get the link while at school). The RE calculator sets your your frequency and i believe your box volume lower than it should be.

I don't have any cardboard boxes that will fit it, ill try to snag some from work and make one but I wasn't provided with one and thought since shipping was decent that it didn't matter, I guess I'll stop by work after school before I go back up to UPS to get a better box.

Ok, I put my invoice in the box and the one you told me earlier on the outside till ups takes care of it.

Is it, Sundown Audio ATTN: WARRANTY SERVICE 151 Rebel Hill DR. Mooresville NC, 28115 ?
-
That may not be sufficient unless you have extremely good packing around the amp inside the carton. Did you include your invoice too ? The inside is well package from when I got it so i doubt that the shipping was the problem. (Wouldn't other pieces be messed up as well if that were the case?) Ricky did his part and I don't want him to take the blame for this. EDIT: I did remember to include it. Thanks, Curt

I'm shipping it the way it was shipped to me. JUST brown paper covering the box.

No sir it was mounted up on my fold down back seat. I heard it was bad to do that so i didn't wanna put it there.

Fast like your replies! Thanks for helping out in such little time. You really are great at customer service. Thanks, Curt

Thanks for the fast response. How long or what is the estimated time to get this pup back in business?
-
Ugh... Ok, but you can wiggle it freely and i think that's what the problem is.
-
Yes sir

When did you buy it and there is no contact number I believe. Don't worry also, it takes 3-5 business days to build your sub once payment is cleared so. If you ordered your sub last night, your payment still needs to be cleared before they can start the building process. They will email you a tracking number when the building process begins.

They most likely took that from ca.com EDIT: They did: http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=137804

I didn't make this thread for you to flame my signature. This signature was a joke started up on here maybe 3 or 4 months ago. I don't give a flying fuck what you think. I know DD is the most winning sub and respect that. But that isn't why I did that. NOW if you wanna talk about why I did this then PM me, until then STFU and GTFO if you have no input on what the real discussion is about. Thank you, Curt -
Anyone besides me still waiting for diablos response?

The belt was what we were playing with the most. We made it as tight as possible, revved the engine and if the alt made a squeeky noise, we would go back and tighten it more. And I believe the belt had enough room for a nice fit. -

Grounds are fine, everything is plugged in right. I'm still confused myself with everything. -
You guys should really save your money up. I have been saving since January and I have my 500 dollar sub, 750 dollar amp, 300 dollar battery (d3100) and I'm currently on hold with the alt because I'm saving for some Christmas gifts and personal items as well. If its time you don't have, then I see price being an issue. But if your going to get some high quality sound equipment, you mine as well get the best that will keep YOU happy and YOUR system happy as well.
