  1. ill hook it up to a meter tomorow, i dont have one here with me. but im not sure if its a low ohm load....sometimes it will play for a while, sometimes it will turn off after playing for only a couple of mins, regradless of if im playing it loud or low. sometimes all i have to do is turn the radio off for a second, turn it back on and the amp works fine. sometimes it wont turn on at all. also i am diasy chaining ( i know, hopefully this week if im kepting the amp ill finish the second remote wire) the remote wire off from the eclispe amp to my zapco amp, when the eclipse amp shuts down the zapco still works fine. so i am thinking this eliminates the head unit being the problem, the power light goes off but the red protection light does not come on...i am thnking that this is not a simple problem and my $1000 amp is bad
  2. hey guys i have 2 12 L7's being powered by a Eclispe DA7232. All was fine up until a few weeks ago when i noticed that the amp occasionaly shuts off after a few mins of play. all the wires are fine and the other amp works fine.... i was thinking maybe it might be seeing low ohms but the amp is not even warm...any ideas?....thanks guys
  3. Hey i need help with my box build. I have a 03 Solara, 2 L7's and im powering them with a eclispe DA7232. so the first box i built, 5.0 cf with kickers recomended port didnt fit and i am now learning the pains of severe disapointment! so now that i progressed from building simple sealed boxes to ported and f.g. enclousers i am stuck at fitting them in a trunk where they wont physicaly fit. So would someone who has mastered this process please help this newbe who just wants to have some good sounds to go along with these badass subs, Or even beter someone who has a solara and a simular setup. I would like to use the area under the rear deck for the encloser and using the front of trunk facing it from the rear of the car for trunkspace. To use space as efficently as possible I am thinking of buildng the top, bottom, front and the rear with MDF and using fiberglass for the sides . What do you think? How can i fit an enclouser in this area?i love cristisim since its for improvemnt, thanks.
