I had my 12" dual 1 ohm Q reconed right before i sold my old car, and have decided against putting a system in my new car as i have a baby due in 8 weeks and need the trunk space. so it hasn't been used at all since the recone. what do u guys think i should sell it for? thanks anthony

great review indeed, if i didnt have to put a stroller in the back of the new car, my Q would definitely be in it. by far the best sub i've ever owned. maybe a few years from now ill do it again. but sadly i have to deal with the stock subwoofer for a while

i sent my woofer in for a recone and spoke with nick via email briefly, but havent heard a response in a while. i need to get the sub back asap, im not sure how much to pay them for it with shipping to 85259. if anyone can contact them via phone, that would be fantastic as i would love to have the sub back by thursday or friday for a road trip. i know its 75 plus shipping, but im not sure how much the shipping is and if it can be back to me by then. he said it can be done within a day if need be. i have had my fi q installed in my car for a few weeks. today i was listening to it pretty loud, but nothing too crazy when all the sudden it stopped. my power light on my amp is still lit up (jl1000.1), all wires are connected. any advice or thoughts on what happened?

and if its not that? i am trying to aviod pulling the screws and messing up the box if i dont have to. ill try the working speaker tomorrow. problem is going to be finding a speaker that can handle that amp. the amp is brand new as well.

so i hooked up my sub and amp. its a dual 1 ohm 12" q to a jl 1000.1 and it sounds like poo. i get a slapping sound even with the bass almost all the way down and the volume not even half way up. i havent tuned a jl amp before and theres all sorts of knobs and switches and what not, the box is sealed and around 1.2ft ^3 after the sub displacement. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

so i just bought a jl 1000.1 amp and now im about to buy a fi 12Q. which voice coils should i get and how should i wire it? the box im going to build is 22"w-9.5"d-14"h sealed with 1.186^3 net air space in my tc. sorry for the noob questions, im not very good with wiring.

i got a dual 1 ohm sub, now like i said im wiring illiterate, does anyone have a diagram of how i should wire it to my jl1000.1. also is that box going to be big enough? (22"x14"x9.5" exterior using 3/4" mdf) its going to be sealed. should i go a little deeper? maybe 10" or 10.5"? thanks in advance, i really wanna get this box made tomorrow or the next day.
