hmmm I went from 2 18" loaded BL's to 1 18" loaded BTL and I'm way louder now. With his space I'm thinking the 1 12 would be better.

dout that will happen.. Can't. 1. why not? 2. I like the boob cone, reminds me of good things

If you are playing a 30 hz tone and your box is tuned to 32 then of course it will start to bottom out, a box will not properly play a tone lower than it's tuning frequency....try a 34-35 hz tone and see if there is a problem there....if not, just don't play below 32 (which is pretty much inaudible to humans anyway)

well those subs are known to have rather decent sq considering their SPL purposes ...

considering what the name of the company stands for...trying to develop a true SQ sub seems like a good idea to me...I would buy one or two ....not that I wont try to get my hand on the new BTL also, since there is more spl in the new version, will any sq be sacrificed?

I have the following system... '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2 18" Fi BLs 2 Rockford Fosgate T10001's 1 Rockford Fosgate p500-2 1 Pair Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5" components 1 Pair Alpine Type R Coaxial 6.5" Lots of Lightning Audio Wire Alpine CDA-7897 Head Unit + 6 Disk Changer 225 amp Excessive Amperage alternator Box tuned to about 34 hz My question is, I cannot for the life of me get my subs to play the same. They are phase, wired with 8 gauge, and the polarity is correct (as long as the subs are labeled correctly). I have the amps set for master/slave, set to give each sub 1400 watts. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

Ok, well I went outside, did a crapload of tuning, and now they are playing evenly..

damn looks loud as hell -
But I'm using master/slave on the amp, so it should tune the same by it's self..

have you checked each sub to see how many ohms each coil reads? do that . Can I do that with a dmm? If so, how?
