DSS Tridents and Twisted Sounds S-10. Road to 166dBs

Wow man- that sucks. Had a friend got his Z28 stolen a couple years ago- same thing- they stole 3 or 4 other cars the same night. Luckily for him- the alternator failed on the car and the thieves abandoned it on the interstate about 40 miles away. They had the process down to steal F-bodys. Anyhow- that is one hell of an inconvenience man, hope the dealer comes thru for you. -
freaking sweet!

Yessir- I noticed you were busy working on it- as some options popped up right after I posted this. I'll most likely be ordering a 1200.1 real soon, to replace Skar amp in my Suzuki.

I am on the fence on the Ukraine issue. I do know this- NO WAY Obama lifts a finger. After Benghazi, the 'red line' is a figment of imagination. i am more pissed that kids can't wear an american flag themed shirt in Cali, As to not offend 'mexican-american' kids on cinco de mayo(sp). Not ban all kids from wearing any other nations symbol- only stop our kids from being patriots. Bullshit.

My main issue with them is that you have to modify/drill holes in your door panel...just modify the door panels to start with. Why use a product like that if you have to ruin your door panels anyway. But I guess it is a cheap easy way to add speakers, if that is all you want to do. Ther golf cart kits look pretty cool though.

You are correct. This is what Q recommended to get the 'flattest' response- since I have the room to do it. My goals aren't ultimate SPL- as I don't compete- but it will still be 2 15's on 3500+ watts- it will be loud. But my main concern was that I don't want it to be 'peaky', or a one note wonder.

Cresendo BC3500 & C1100.4 - 2 DSS Ethos 15's. Everything else is still up for debate.

Parrot H/U
Lee Carter replied to Lee Carter's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Right, but the only android device I own in my phone. And I know nothing about the installaion of one. Which is why I planned to stick to a H/U. I looked at the mirror link H/U but I have a Samsung Ploclaim(cheap walmart phone), and they only list the S3 and S4 as compatable. Plus my kids would rather the DVD player- though I don't really care for them. After reading more into it- I see that the Parrot is basically little more than a Android device that uses your phone for connectivity. I am losing interest already. -
Parrot H/U
Lee Carter replied to Lee Carter's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yeah- I mostly listen to my music via jump drive. but I do like to listen to local radio(mainly when I have my young ones, as most of my music is explicit.) i like the Nav is included. But I honestly, when I had my Pioneer with nav, my phones nav was better. Thing I need/want in a H/U: USB connectivity (I like that the Parrot has many) Bluetooth for phone calls (i travel 4.5 hrs to and from work- and cops are cracking down on holding a phone to your head.) Rear Veiw capability (Avalanches suck to back up) Preouts w/sub channel (4-volt + preferably, but not necessary) (parrot is 6v) As far as traditional H/U's go- the Pioneer 8500 is up there on my list. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130X850BHS/Pioneer-AVH-X8500BHS.html?showAll=N&search=AVH-X8500BHS&skipvs=T Hoping to buy something in the next month or so. Since I am finally paying off my DSS Subs...H/U is next. -

Looking forward to seeing more build pics. Thanks for the kind words also.

Love the truck...normally don't care for black wheels- but those have just the right amount of accents to set them off. And you are right- the big wheels take away from the fact that they are 35's...makes them look smaller. Tuned in for your install progress!
