2 zcon 18's box questions in Chevy Avalanche

Those are some nice boxes. I like the textured look. mine will only be lined on the rear- where it will be subject to moisture. A laquered Baltic box would be sweet looking. sending you a pm Bulldog -

I feel ya on the water resistant...but like you suggested- i am going to have my box bed lined. But my dad works at a dealer- and I get a deal on the real deal, never used the canned bed liner- so I can't comment on that. But ANY plywood is going to swell over time if it gets wet repeatedly- which is why I am using MDF. Why spend all the extra for birch just to bedliner it anyway. -
Most here would prefer you use an OE recone, but in this case PSI may be your best bet. Most likely- that's why he 'hates to say it'.

Man- honestly everyone is going to suggest something different. Spend alot of time in the build log section and you'll get an idea of what people like, and don't like. As for people suggesting equipment- what are your goals, how much space do you have. You mention rockford T2 and a JL 1000/1. Is it just the sub stage you wish to upgrade? or is this equipment you already have and plan to use? There is a huge wealth of knowledge here- but you have to ask the right questions to help them help you.

Maybe I am loosing it...but why are you using 3/0 and 2/0, and how are you fitting it into the 1/0 inputs? (I am assuming to cut the excess dianeter til it fits?) Very clean looking wiring! -
15 net cubes, 156" port, 22hz. What do you think Quinten? 3 would give me a .66 ohm load on the 3500.(which I think will be fine with box rise). Just playing around with the idea...you think it'll be worth it over 2?

LOL I did already- but my work is blocking me from uplaoding to photobucket...I can work around it and do it thru my cell...but headed to bed. I'll post it up in the AM.

Thanks Q.

good deal!

Does this include mine? the tracking #'s you sent me have stopped showing a delevery date, and still only show that they have been scheduled for pick up. At this point I'd rather just wait til MAY and have you build me 18's.
