It is very easy to go over budget...I was thinking 3-4 grand for my lil system build for the Lanche...I am over that already, lol. But like stated earlier- don't ruin your finances man- debt is hard to recover from.

picked up 75' of 2/0 welding cable today...can't wait to get my T/M stuff in and start running wire!

Thanks guys- headed to the shop today...will be bedlining the rear portion when they do the next truck in the shop. Picked up my front stage. some Massive RK6's. Also have a set a Massive Summo 6's that I am considering putting in the rear doors as dedicated mid bass. though I may not. Depends if we can glass some enclosures in the rear doors. I got them for nearly nothing to try them out. If I don't use them in the Lanch- I will use them in the T/A as Subs.

OK- last update for a bit. main box construction if complete. It is in the hands of the body shop. They were already filling screw holes when I got there today.lol Added the internal bracing. I was skeptical to the amount of difference it would make...but dang...it really tightened up the sound of just knocking on the side. Then decided to my sure the speaker would drop it, and to show the shop guys what a non-mainstream Sub looked like.LOL Pics-

Looks good! whats the tuning? -
Just gonna be a simple plate panel...shaped to replace the midgate. Assuming the box fits thru the hole.lol Going to leatherette it to match my factory leather. Hopefully a large oval around the subs, and flush trimmed to the port. Headed to ATL for the Fbody gathering this weekend. Gonna order wire tomorrow though. I'll start back on it after monday.

glued and screwed. still got to add a few cross braces, then it will be ready for paint and bedlining. I am pretty proud of it...best box I have ever constructed. I don't know how I ever lived without a Jasper circle jig.LOL Still have to do the beauty panel too... The side panel will be mounted after painting.

Done some work on the Lanche after my dentist appt today. Went by the body shop and intalled the helper bags and 1" spring spacer. Then I got home and finished pre drilling and mock up on the box. them pulled it ll back apart. Ready to start gluing it together tomorrow.

I would do spindles up front for a 2" drop- that way you ride wont change at all. Tony is good people, he will respond to emails/calls anytime of day. (within reason)

it is definitely stiffer... but it handles way better. Had to do a ton of cutting up front and it still scrubs on harder dips. But the only way to get this low is thru the TBSS.com store, they guy's name is Tony. He has matched up parts from different companies to get the SUV's a 4/6 option. It is belltech up front, Tony's own springs and DJM relocation brackets and spohn panhard out back.
