So this is my build for my truck. Everything is in as of this moment and it slams. Check it out!!!! Might as well show what was in the truck first. ^^Rockford T800-4 and 2 Kicker Comp 10's with RF T1's for Front-stage. Eventually laid box down so subs were forward and sounded a little better. Now for the goods. ^^Boxes, boxes and boxes. ^^RF RCA's ^^Should be enough power. ^^Amps going in. T-1500bdCP and T400-4. ^^My 5 minute amp rack. LOL. New one already built and carpeted just got to get off my ass and put it in. ^^Mock up of doors. ^^Doors in and wired up. Now u may be asking where the other tweeter is or why I have the component set and a tweeter set. Ok here's the BS. The crossover that came with the T1 set, tweeter input and output is fried. Tweeter works fine but when run through crossover, no sound. I bought this set not long after they came out, I've already got my money's worth I think. So I bought the tweeter set and will run it on the front channel while the mids are on the rear. My new amp rack does not have a spot for the crossovers so I will be deleting them.

UPDATE! Will just let the pics do the talking. The updates are the carpeted amp rack and the 14 awg speaker wire. The carpet I did not buy, I ripped it off an old box. I think it's pretty clean what do you guys think? -

what voltage is bad
RF-ChipmunK replied to toy2008's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I'm scared to let mine go below 13.6v. But at full full tilt and probably some distortion it will hold 12.6v. So I guess my electrical is all good? -
Why about some North Carolina trailer tags, they are regular size.

Not as I know of. Just refers to efficiency at or around the tuning point. And that itself is not necessarily 100% true.

people on another forum saying my box is a problem?
RF-ChipmunK replied to b0r's topic in Fi Technical
How much 4 ga do u have? That amp will never need that 1/0. And guys, I have a Charger, it's stereo-proof lol. I am grounded off the battery as well currently. But when I ran my1500bdCp in my charger I used distros. These amps get warm at 1 ohm no lie. But the outside trim is meant to cook! If your worried about it getting warm check the mirror face around the power inputs, if that's extremely warm you may have a problem but I doubt it. Try this bro. There is a bolt the battery is grounded too. Disconnect it. Sand it off all around it and connect your amp ground and reconnect battery ground. Upgrade that battery ground with some 1/0. U would be better off just running 4 ga to your amp instead of your 1/0 and 4. If you THINK you may get more, you shou go ahead and get some distros. Mount em close to your amps with 1/0 going in and 4 going out. Here is what I am talking about. And here is when I had my memphis on the seat. Grounded at the point referenced above. Where battery is grounded too. So it's probably 4 ft long. Wait didn't you say biggest box? I got 4.2 net? -

I think he is just sayin it's out of the 9-12 range for aero ported boxes. I say if your feeding 8k get a 8" port LOL. I thought 8" ports were used for 15's anyway.

On another note, I plan on buying one of these(Fi X 10) shortly for my '78 Ford Truck. And a Soundqubed 750.1. I plan on just getting a prefab sealed enclosure since most online are slim already and only .5-.6 cuft which with sub in box makes it fall in recommended specs. And these boxes do allow 6" sub mounting depth.
-
Well remember they don't build it unless you buy it so they won't lose if they don't build any. I'm sure all the soft part are pretty close across the whole Fi line of subs.
