Don't wire at .5ohm nominal *.35 ohm dcr* You are asking for trouble.

When it blows...that was its peak. We don't rate them on peak power..as that is just a marketing ploy...which is sort of like giving a 7 year old a can of gas and a pack of matches and telling them to not set anything on fire.

33Hz is high for a home install...you've got a lot more stuff going on in there then in a car as well. Room gains are different etc. If you plan on keeping it in there I would tune lower...

Probably because there aren't any Fi dealers... If you email us without a subject in your email it automatically goes to spam. As well as if you have an email consisting of something like ' imtoosexyforstifflersmomsboobs @ wow . com' Recones are easy to do yourself..just 3 glue joints and a little bit of solder.

Never know when we might do something. We do a fair amount of contests and what not for giveaways but as far as any discounts on anything we simply do not do it. We'll do free options randomly for a random period of time...we don't even know when we are going to do it..it just sort of happens I'll have some new neat stuff to do soon, just really too busy at this time to do it the way i want it to be done.

We're waiting on the ferrite magnets. We've got everything else machined up and ready to go for when the magnets do arrive. Build process for all of the current orders will be filled in the order in which they were received and should take a period of about 3 days to get all of them assembled and packed. Once we receive the magnets everybody will get an email and/or a phone call. The tracking numbers for the orders will then be generated and sent out. We are not generating the tracking numbers because last time that this happened we had a lot of people change their orders around resulting in a lot of time being spent changing shipping charges and what not.

We set the limit at 250 free BP's..we're almost at that limit..just want to make sure the people know we're getting ready to start charging for it again as we're getting close to that number!

Many people have been raising the question and not believing that we make our shirts and stickers in house...so here is some pics of our screen/print shop 4 screen station that I'm making some new screens and stuff for right now for new shirt designs... Two single screen stations that we use for the back and front logo's on some shirts/hoodies Other single screen station.. All of our vinyl racks that logos are cut out of! Granite slabs to work the stickers out on and apply logos Our pad printer... Last not least...our good friend RUCKUS! www.causingaruckus.com

Either The Q or the Bl would go good with that power. but the Q isn't available in 10's We do have Q 10's..kinda weird it isn't on the main page though. I'll have to ask the web guy..he might have deleted it accidentally https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=154afb0ec10c163/shopdata/0050_Speakers/0030_Q/product_overview.shopscript

Can't stand NASCAR personally... Ruckus is hilarious though check it out! www.causingaruckus.com

Still think you have them wired out of phase..because they "aren't moving" Pop test each individual speaker with a battery. If it moves out then it is 'in phase' and + is positive and - is negative on the terminal blocks.

I've had a lot of people here recently ask what BP power was...so I figured hey...might as well show some pictures right?
-
Sure... Standard ones have no axial cooling vents or any other machine work done to them. You get that with the BP option
-
Should be fine.. Big thing is the inside of the motor may sweat if you get it hot with it being so cold outside...but everything is coated on the inside so it won't rust..
-
It's actually an 8 layer coil...that needs to be changed.
-
Sure there is But in a 'normal' situation...no what wood be the diffents
-
Don't have parameters...can get them..they'll do fine in either sealed or ported..mid Q sub.
-
As far from a Chinese company as one could get... We machine all of the stuff in house in Vegas ..not your 'local' machine shop..we simply do it all ourselves because we can.

Sure there is But in a 'normal' situation...no

What do you mean not at full potential? How did you set the gains? Maybe the amp doesn't likes 11.8V or lower, and draws more current that's (probably) why it heats up and maybe clips and shuts itself off. Gains were set with a multimeter, and so once we saw what full potential was (around the 3/4 gain area) we back it down to around 1/2 gain (because we want to break in the woofers slowly in these cold months) That 11.8V was the lowest it dropped at a 45hz test tone, which jumped right back up to 12V and up to 12.2V with the car's heater off Setting gains with a multimeter is a bad idea... You are probably over driving the amp with the headunit, a combination of the low voltage issues... If it is getting hot you may very well have it wired wrong..

Playing below tuning frequency of the enclosure...with no subsonic filter on...or it is not set properly for the tuning of the enclosure... Speakers are stupid..they do EXACTLY what you tell them to do.
