Volumetric displacement is simple, however its linear displacement that matters the most (and yields the least amount of thd) once you go past linear bad things happen..get mechanical noise, cone noise etc etc. Think of it as a piston..if a 12" piston moves 1mm linearly, it has far less 'volumetric displacement' than a 12" piston that moves 12 inches (merely an example, not to be taken seriously) Bottom line, if the cone moves more = more displacement.

Nick (me) is in Virginia, Shawn is in Florida, so neither one of us know Gotta wait until Monday when Scott gets back to the shop. (check your tracking number perhaps to see if it says 'recieved')
-
Scott is out of town until Monday.

Scott is out of town until Monday, he may get on here later today but there's not guarantees to that. Should be able to get you an answer by then.

Your from Hawaii right? Shipping there via usps saves you money and what not = no tracking number. From now on we'll just ship ups, and the buyer will have to bite the shipping bullet for a tracking number.

That wouldn't happen to be a awd turbo car would it?

We rate it at 2000 watts RMS...what you put to it is your own decision.

Whats your first and last name? Ill see if i can get it taken care of today... Honestly man i'd stick with the universal option...just for the future

In a sense yeah, the Q motor is weaker than the BL motor because the lack of steel inside of the pole..it has a longer coil and therefore the cone moves more = more volumetric displacement (linear)

You should have been emailed a tracking number upon being billed.

Recone price varies...contact us if you want to know a price.

It's all box dependent... I don't understand what you mean when you say "the way they play the lower and higher notes". They are both subwoofers, ideally you should be playing between 20 and 80Hz...
-
I don't quite understand what you are asking, what are you wanting to change?
-
Most of which is really box dependent. If you want to 'classify' the subs, the Q is more on the SQ spectrum and the BL is more geared for spl and will also take more power as well.

Kevin and the entirety of the "Low-Hz" crew isn't worth my time. There are no problems, if there were problems we would have changed them by now. Some of the tinsels have broken, but that is due to it pulling the copper out of the inside of the tinsel out of the jacketing on the outside (Copper not getting hot enough during solder) We've fixed that now. There were some issues with people beating the heck out of them and unloading them playing WAY under tuning and burning holes in spiders... Aside from that Kevin has a vendetta against us, as does the whole "Low-Hz" crowd. Don't know what his deal is, or reason behind it, don't really care....if he really knew what he was saying he'd realize that he is doing nothing more then stepping on his own toes.

Ah, your the one that's coming to school here next year...cool....you'll learn the ways of radtown Thanks for the review!

No, in the larger enclosure you will reach mechanical limits faster than in the smaller enclosure.
-
Don't have a phone because its inefficient....spend 8 hours a day talking on the phone and then get no subs machined and out the door. What questions do you have?
