Well you don't have enough power for a pair of BTL's, that amp is rated to do 2700 watts at .5ohm...and in all honestly i wouldn't run the amp that hard. (Lowest i would go would be with our dual 1ohm coils, that have a dcr at .7 ohms) Depending on how much room you have to give up (and tastes on is this street geared or geared for spl numbers?) you may want to entertain the idea of a pair of Q's with the BP power option, or possibly a pair of BL's with the cooling option. If its more of a daily street beater IMO its the best way to go, instead of investing more money in more batteries and another amp just to run the BTL's. I'm not very familiar with the pro cast subs from Mmats, how do you like those? Or are you just looking for a change of pace? Thanks! -Nick

Planning on buying some Fi subs, need advice though.

I've messed with the cars a little bit. Personally i believe you have enough room to do a pair of SSD 12's with the copper coil option, with ~1600 watts (give or take). I dont think you have enough room (physically speaking) to mount a 15" sub firing up back there without having a really funky shaped box up top. Thanks! -Nick -
ill give you the shirt off my back but its midgetized

I've fooled with one of the cars.. By the time you get the enclosure strong enough your volume is going to shrink drastically, realistically after displacement of the enclosure your probably looking at 8-9 cubic feet It's not a matter of gross volume, you'll loose a lot with the amount of port area you'll need.. IMO 2's more then enough to rip one of those cars apart
-
As Wes said, might want to tune it lower. Ps - Never use specs in a program like Winisd, just set your volume and your port area and calculate the length. Response graphs are worthless on a program like that. Thanks!

If your looking to fit 3 of them i'll go ahead and tell you 3 wont fit... Otherwise i know 2 will. Thanks!

800 watts and thats what we stick to, what you put to it is your discretion. When they break, then that was too much

Less than 100 bucks

Might be a subsonic filter issue? I've never had good luck out of any of those amps personally...

Well, he hit the nail on the head, not much i need to explain lol. If you have more questions feel free to ask

Nope Fi is sticking strictly with subs and the custom order deals. AA will be a strictly dealer based entity available at one internet outlet...will have components, 'stock' subs that you only have a coil choice on etc. I'd say July will be a good time estimate. Thanks!
-
Eh, they do well in both worlds actually... Sound good for home or car, granted install is key
-
Those will be available soon with the AA line. Those are the poly's, there's also going to be some other introductions for other mids and component options as well
-
Are you talking about the AA poly's?
-
Nice Looks like you've broke just a little bit of stuff loose in the dash

Post your questions here, odds are they've been answered, if not then everybody can read.

IMO 1 SSD's should get louder for daily purposes
-
Yep, almost positive Scott could do that. Specs probably wouldn't be the same as original, but it would at least work again
-
Looks good man Post some finished pics!

Go to autozone and pickup a tube of Loctite 10min epoxy (or around that set time) it'l work fine.

1) Yep, no glue per msds/shipping issues. 2) We sell a recone kit for any of our subs, and normally can do many other woofers...just depends on if its a 3" coil motor or not, and the id/od of the coil. Most of the time on different stuff you have to ship the sub in, we can't build a drop in for it and the vast majority of Chinese motors we simply cannot do (they use a oddball coil size, ours are standard 3") 3) Cost depends on what the recone is, generally varies from 80-110 + shipping (if not more) 4) Shims come with it if we can make a kit for it, if it isn't thick enough you can use paper or even a manilla file folder. 5) 3" only, we're not getting into a bunch of oddball stuff..and we're not in the recone business, if we have something in stock that'l fit the motors you have...sure we'll build you a recone. Otherwise we're not tackling other projects with other size coils now. 6) All depends on gap demensions Thanks! -Nick

Ummm..shouldn't be anything wrong with that box... Could be bottoming it out Remember that thing i told you about matching the gain with the RCA voltage? Go back and check it again...

Should be a solid amp, I believe sundown is coming out with a 1000 watter..might want to look into that or possibly even Kicker.
