yep those are the old comp's

Nothing more then gluing the spider landing down and the surround down after you align the coil... After that glue dries you simply glue the dustcap on it and your ready to go again in a days time.

Cool stuff.. I knew when i broke the wood before i broke the glue joint that titebond was good stuff

You read what happened to the oompa loompa's?
-
hi 'hop. i'm officially just getting old now.
-
I've said it once, ima say it again. Now, with that said. If the coils are not geting hot (you aren't smelling them) it should be fine...when you beat on them for a while they are going to get a little warm.

No offence or anything, but stuff like this needs to be done yourself through time and tons of testing. We simply can't design a box thats going to be 'loud' or 'louder' than what you have in your car now...mainly because we aren't there looking at the car and the scenario in which the sub is in... What we design may completely miss the frequency that your car likes (it may not peak at 45hz with a new enclosure)... SPL stuff your pretty much on your own man, we do boxes for daily drivers and what we recommend for musical scenarios...about the only thing i could tell you to do is play with volume, port area, and depth until you find a combination that works for your car...

We cuttin' the oompa loompas back to low dose narcotics and enrolling them in rehab...they OD'd last year, was runnin' around in the parkin lot squirting CA glue and activator at each other.... You shoulda seen the mess, was quite hilarious when buckethead decided it'd be a good idea to start playing 'smear the queer' afterwords and glued themselves together :D :D

Try them sealed i guess, there's no need to rewire them and run your amp that hard, it'l actually be running at .35ohm... Btw if your that big into SQ you probably shouldn't be running amps that'l run that low anyways class D amps aren't the greatest of sound quality amps..

Thanks everybody!

NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooo Do NOT set the gains with a damn dvom, baaaaaaaaaaaad idea, whoever came up with that one should be shot. Ill get you a link to explaining why you shouldn't set your gains like that.
-
yep thats across.. not sure what you mean with the port? if you plan on making it removeable then don't use wood glue, if you plan on leaving it alone then glue it in.
-
A aeroport is a LOT different then just pvc. PVC in an enclosure is just like having a round port, it isn't flared, and you won't have enough port area. Honestly man if your wanting to do spl the least you can do is get an aftermarket deck and get rid of the line out converters...

my version of show stoppers..focused around 32hz not sure how many people can download it, but first come first serve. http://www.sendspace.com/file/sf267r

Been there and did some extensive testing with that board... Honestly man, save your money up for something better....half of that amp (one board) i was doing good to get 900 watts out of it, and it was not remotely near clean.
-
with a 12? doubt it... you'd have to build a peaky enclosure, then it wouldn't sound anywhere near as good on music..

It's where the cool kids hang out. pssst shoot me a im, i cant seem to find you on mi buddy list
