All of that comes through testing...you've got to figure out what your vehicle likes to get 'maximum' spl.

Nothing to see...just a plug in the back plate, makes it look like a BL or a BTL

FI BTL 12" with or without cooling option
NDMstang65 replied to criticalaudioinc's topic in Fi Products
I'd definitely get the cooling, those amps are very powerful. Thanks -Nick -
I doubt very seriously if Scott would do it...no point in putting a 3rd slug on it it is optimized to preform the way it does with what it has - it doesnt need any more material, plus the tooling cost that you would incurr you could almost buy a 2nd sub for what you'd pay for another slug and different t-yoke. If ya want a 3rd slug get a BTL . Thanks -Nick

BTL's have no warranty, otherwise that's it! Thanks!

FI BTL 12" with or without cooling option

Depends on how much power you plan on running -
almost time for 4 day break.

12 btl and 3.5 cubic feet what would happen?
NDMstang65 replied to Diminishedpower's topic in Fi Technical
Bottom heavy response, above 60hz would likely sound terrible, and your mechanical power handling would probably go to 1500 watts (give or take) with a musical application, it would also be MUCH easier to unload while playing under tuning. -
I'm very busy, if you have aim jump in the chat "car audio" and ill try to get in there later this evening. Thanks -Nick

Email me your name and address... Just a ps/heads up, it's not 11 days, it has only been 6 business days (We don't work on the weekends, nor does ups), depending on what time you placed your order on that Friday (June 22nd) it wouldn't have started to process on until Monday, June 25th. It is now the 2nd of July, or the 6th business day. Thanks.

Sounds fine to me sealed.. Personally running a ssd12 sealed with a dei1100 with copper coils..granted i don't beat the heck out of it and it's probably an honest 700 watts or so, sounds good and gets loud...enough to shake the mirrors on the car if i want to.
-
The email that i got about a btl was taken care of, i'm not sure what your email address is/was though. q.bammer@ ??? perhaps? Otherwise i haven't got an email about one..
-
Scott may be on here a little later, otherwise he might be unavailable for a few days. We'll get it figured out for you.
-
I dont hear the drop off in response that you do...in that same enclosure...and i'm assuming that jim didn't/doesn't either. Said in the email try to seal them, a single ssd 12 sealed with 700 watts is more then enough to vibrate the mirrors on my car...don't see why the sealed output of 2 Q's wouldn't be enough...

CHAT NOW danke.

Seems that a kicker 1500 or a sundown 1500 does fine with the 'loaded' BL's. Thanks -Nick

Q is more musical than the BL, the BL is pretty much a step between the Q and BTL series of woofers for power handling reasons only...many people had too much power for a Q and not enough for a BTL, which is why we came out with the BL series of woofers. Thanks -Nick
