    Reones??

No clue about the T1's...if its a 3" coil we could probably do something...but honestly it's going to be about the same money either way because you would have to ship them to us to set up properly. Thanks, -Nick

    MT recone q

Hah...well, learned something new today. Other then that it was strictly dual .7ohm flatwire aluminum and 1.4ohm flatwire... Thanks -Nick

    More port area = Better??

Way too big, if your doing spl sure, but for musical/daily listening you needa keep in the ballpark figure of 12-16sq inches of port per cubic foot of volume... Thanks! -Nick

    3.6 cu ft @ 33hz OR 3.9 cu ft @ 32hz

Not that big of a difference, i doubt very seriously if you'd notice an audible difference between the two.. If anything the larger inclosure may be a smidge less accurate...but you'd probably only notice it if you had many many listening hours in with the subs... Thanks! -Nick

    thinking about a Q

I'd recommend sticking with subs of the same size if possible.. Even though that amp has 2 sets of outputs it is still a monoblock amp...it really doesn't matter 'how' you hook the sub up to it, it only has one channel Overall the 18 should be louder for a musical application than the pair of 12's...now burping/spl that may be a different story... Thanks! -Nick

    REcones

Depending on what option(s) you have...ballpark figure (off the top of my head, dont have my price sheet right here with me) is $100 plus whatever shipping is to you. Reconing isn't hard with a drop in kit, you've got to clean your basket that you have now and use a flapper wheel on a grinder (make sure you have a mask when using this, CA fumes are VERY uncomfortable on the eyes) Nothing more then putting the shim in the motor and gluing the spiders down to the spider landing and the surround down to the surround landing and soldering the tinsels to the push terminals... Thanks -Nick

SSDs arent loud at all need help!

Too high, youll never get a reading like that... Put it on 2, or 20, you should get a reading with it set on 20 if memory serves me correctly... My fluke doesn't have that, it autmatically adjusts to what kind of voltage that i'm dealing with.. Thanks -Nick

SSDs arent loud at all need help!

Yeah, or you could be hitting protect as well... What setting did you have your dvom on when you tried to read the voltage out of the amp? Thanks -Nick

Is it a good combo? FI BTL 15 with Digital Designs Z1

Should be fine, if that amp does that kind of power i would be very cautious...we don't condone putting that much power to the subs but if you feel the need then go for it! Thanks -Nick

    15's to 18's

Not sure what subs those are, or what coils they have. Also not sure if we have soft parts that would work in them or not... Are they a 3" coil sub? Thanks -Nick

    question about recone kits

Sure, whatever shipping is through usps would be you'd have to pay for it... Depending on what size recones you want they are generally from 80-90 bucks...(10-18" size) Thanks -Nick
  18. NDMstang65

    Recones?

You don't have to ship it to us, if you ship it to us your going to be paying shipping both ways and that's going to add probably 45-50 dollars each way onto shipping.. We'll send you a drop in recone kit, all you have to do is use the shims and line the coil up on the pole piece and glue the spider landing and surround landing down on the basket...
  19. NDMstang65

    Recones?

yep $85 + whatever shipping is to where ever you are located (figure ~15 bucks or so if your in the lower 48) Thanks -Nick

    Gasket.....

Scott will have to answer this...pretty sure he wont separate a gasket and basket, for the sheer point of we have the same number of baskets as we do gaskets.. post a wtb ad on ca.com or a forum of that nature, many spl competitors take them off...i've got some old 15" gaskets, but no 12's. Thanks -Nick
