u mean the holes that are around the motor wich allows u to see the coil inside the motor?? what about daily and spl whats the difference in the sub material? Difference in spl gap and daily gap is the top plate on the SPL gap is much tighter... There are no holes in the bottom of the motor, the inside of the motor pole/top plate is machined for cooling purposes..if it doesn't have cooling then it is just a smooth piece of 3" solid steel stock... Thanks!

Totally different subs with different goals in mind... XXX is mroe sq oriented, BL is more daily/ground pounder oriented... Thanks!
-
Sorry man.. Only difference is there are cooling channels machined in, if they aren't in there then it's just a plain piece of round stock. Thanks!

HBD! -
It's not a recone man it's the motor itself...there's a good amount of steel taken out of the inside of the motors for cooling, that generally have adverse effects on SPL due to less motor strength... Thanks! -Nick

Smaller enclosure will be more accurate and 'punchy'..but also more prone to peaking... Larger end of the spectrum will not be quite as 'accurate' and will be a little smoother... IMO .5 is fine for the 10 Thanks!

Not done yet, when they are available they'll be on the website to order. Thanks!

Dont want loaded BTL's for SPL... The Hixmax coil hurts it numbers wise..as does the cooling..

No need to

What about a SSD with a copper coil?

Our litle secret. -
What kind of power and room do you have to work with? Thanks! -Nick

But it's not going to wear the coil out so long as you use a dual 1ohm coil...kenny used them for music, you should beable to do the same fine. The dual 2ohm coil will not fit...
-
We never did the teflon... It's painted black so it doesn't rust, they are all black. I told you everything i knew about the motor a few months ago, and that's still all i know about it. The dual 2ohm gap is the universal gap, if you have a dual 1ohm coil in it now, and it was ordered as dual 1's, then that is the 'spl' gap. Thanks -Nick
