Don't seal the btl, don't seal the bl...don't care what you may think, the output is going to be horrid...just don't do it. In regards to you not paying attention to manufactures' recommendations i suggest that you treat us differently...our rec's will preform the best in a daily driving scenario. If your dead set on having a sealed box, look into the Q series. Thanks! -Nick

Amp is on its last leg / dieing... Coils don't like DC voltage
-
Meade doesn't have any clipping problems, clipping happens from turning the volume knob too far to the right and square waving your input signal.. Amps are dumb (generally speaking) they just amplify what they are given... Thanks! -Nick

..'i didnt notice a difference'..

soap's and jim's around the world are jealous. but yeah..i'm not a super model..so maybe jim isnt jealous..

One i've got in the HT down stairs doesn't sound bad by any means It's all about the hands that it is put in...but yeah generally speaking the squeers quivver at the thought of a btl sounding good...eh whatever

Cutie. you got a purdy mouf boye.

As always you'll find out when it is time We don't put dates on anything anymore...things will just show up un-announced. Keeps the 'hype' down

Sounds like the amp has internal issues... See how much DC voltage you are getting out of the outputs on it...
-
So long as you are sensible about it you'll be fine..i mean i'm gonna have a little over 1kw per door in the truck on the mids/highs... Not going to use all of it, but there's nothing wrong with head room. If you abuse it it will bite you though Thanks! -Nick

Never ever ever ever set the gains with a multimeter...you'll burn shit up in a heart beat. You need to set you gains according to your input voltage, not your 'desired' wattage output at a given impedance that you are no where near close to... Setting are wrong on the master amp and you are probably clipping it and the one sub is getting the grunt of it..

Have to send the motor in to have the top plate machined...we only use the 12 spoke basket with our parts, none of the eclipse baskets will work with our parts because they use 10" spiders... Thanks! -Nick
-
Way too much power, if your not careful you will pop it. Thanks! -Nick
-
How tall is the top plate? I'm not sure if we can do a under hung design or not, but i know we can re-cone those motors. Thanks! -Nick

Neil...that's why no specs were ever posted of a MT..because they don't matter If we give the guidelines to put in this box and tune to this frequency range with this port range what else do you need? All of those woofers with motor designs similar to it will have parameters that box programs tell you to put it ina 6 cube sealed box for best performance...and in all reality the response sucks Again..another scenario of real world expirence > numbers geeks.
