It's not that hard to do, but if you want it to be pretty send it in. The 18" assembly will be useless aside from the basket.... Thanks! -Nick

Does me no good. You need to take a set of digital calipers and cut the soft parts out of the basket/motor. Take the calipers and measure the outside diameter of the coil and tell me what it is. Atomic uses weird size coils that are typically very thin..but if we know this we have something to work with. Thanks! -Nick

heh.. those guys make me laugh.
-
If you have the original coil that was in it we could probably get some measurements off of it and do something... Otherwise you'd have to send it in to us, and beings that you are in PR...i kind of doubt you want to do that.

Nick, I think my recone is lost in the mail, FTL

Call me tomorrow and remind me, otherwise i'm going to forget. Thanks! -
That is how the surrounds are made. You have to poke a hole through them to see the screw holes in the basket. If all else fails pop the gasket off of the sub and take a small phillips head screw driver and ream the holes of the surround out... Not a big deal man Thanks! -Nick

its just..broke lol.
-
Yeah Fi forum is broke...AA one works..
-
Nope...waiting on magnets so we pulled them off of the site until we get them. Thanks! -Nick
-
We'll pick a day next week and knock out a bunch of recones more then likely. Thanks! -Nick

Just a little Fyi as well, you need to check the settings on your subsonic filter. I just saw that you had the HK4000d, and that is QUITE a bit of power on the Q's... I'd be willing to bet that you probably don't have the subsonic filter setup properly and are slamming the cone into the basket...
-
Pull them out of the box and look at them and see if you notice anything weird like the cone detached. If you can, take a picture of it. Thanks! -Nick

Won't have the coils for a few weeks... Recone will be $95 plus $38 for the basket, plus what ever shipping would be back to you depending on location. Thanks! -Nick

We're not 100% ready to release all of the info on the stuff at this time. The old days of putting dates and stuff on product debuts are over. Things will just show up as they need to be when they need to be. We are no longer looking at a direct market with the AA line. We are focusing 100% on a brick and mortar dealers and what works best for them. The DIY section of AA is more less gone now. We're slowly working on things and getting everything hammered out right the first time, instead of hastily jumping into things and just slinging drivers out there that really are not up to par with our standards.. As far as the frequency response between the two are fairly similar, there is a flat shelf response from 1800Hz and up on the driver, but it has a fairly mild break up mode on the top end compared to most carbon or composite drivers...that's about all i can really tell you as far as sound difference between the poly and carbon, other then that they are essentially the same. For what it's worth, the ones I have in the truck I really like... Thanks! -Nick

Right now we're at 5 days manufacturing time, plus 2-6 business days shipping time depending on where you are located. Thanks! -Nick

I'll have to look into a gmail account then..didn't know that was an option. Never had a issue with data loss, I just picked this laptop up the other day so it has nothing on it, and I only had time enough to grab a few things off of the main desktop...
-
Yes, the Flatwound coil is an additional option as well that is $20. Thanks! -Nick

Got switched over to this laptop so whatever I had on the desktop I no longer have it with me again. Forward that back over to me if you don't mind. I tried to get what I could off of the desktop but I didn't have time to fool with mozilla to get the 3000 emails over to this thing... Thanks! -Nick
