Plenty of places to ask questions, i've been talking to Chandra for 3 weeks now, an email got hung up and didn't get to him apparently.. We're not sitting on the phone 8 hours a day, it's not efficient to do so, email works fine...so email me.

Single sub? BTL. Thanks! -Nick
-
All depends on how much of a pain customs is being..
-
right
-
No glue, shipping will be 15 dollars...
-
Yep you can do them yourself...price depends on where you are located and what options the woofers had. Standard BTL 12 and 15 recones are $90 and $95, if you had the hixmax coil that is an additional $10, plus shipping to where ever you are located. Thanks -Nick

could have sworn that you said tinsels in your original post..or one of them...or maybe i'm going nuts lol. Could you take a picture of it? Don't see how it could have been off center, we test every one we build for noise issues or rubbing..
-
Don't understand what your saying...they're scraping? How? Like they are touching each other?
-
Was gone a long time ago, Email me your full name and address and we'll see if we can check customs with USPS and see if it has went through yet or not.

Don't understand what you mean they aren't centered... Did they stop working?
-
SSD's with 1 amp...not enough juice for the Q's.
-
Never got an email..first time i've been in the AA section in a long time.. What do you mean by they have 'unentered voice coils?' Are they the new 8's or are they the older ones before we built them?
-
$38 +shipping for the basket..
-
Yes...but we recommend using 1000w per sub...after 1300w or so you'll start to have issues with stock Q's.

So I looked at Fi Car Audio and then Acendant Audio...

They're not, it's DCR, not a nominal resistance.... 1.85ohms is WELL within spec for a dual 2ohm coil, you just wire it as a standard dual 2ohm sub, a .75 or .85ohm coil is industry standard for a dual 1ohm coil...a few tenths of an ohm lower isn't going to hurt your amp by any means. Thanks! -Nick -
I would have changed the recommended enclosures had they need to have been changed with the new sub, they don't because it still works great in those boxes within that range.
-
No... Don't understand what the uprise of "OMG THEY ARE GOING TO DISCONTINUE IT" today is...i've had 10 people email me, apparently somebody started a rumor. We ran out of magnets unexpectedly, the Q's should be back on the site Monday if all goes according to plan. Like most rumors...just another false one. Q's aren't going anywhere.

For the BTL's yes. It will tell you to slap it in a 9 cubic foot sealed box to be 'optimal' +/- 3dB...and that is not the case. The only thing that box program is good for is to calculate vent length vs. area of the enclosure..
-
I don't have them... Follow our guidelines in the tech section for box information. If you are trying to model them in a program forget it

If you were playing a 'little lower song' odds are you played a song that was below tuning of the enclosure and the sub unloaded... I replied to the email that i got, send me some pictures..

If you both have the same amp odds are you are not going to power the BL's or BTL's properly.
