Seem like there is alot of potential. Cant wait to grab a few of these!

IF your refering to the Old IA DP and the OLD Nightshade, those both have been discontinued. SO it doesnt have much relavence. Cones and so on look all the same to me now daysfor alot of builders lol. Everyone uses a med or wide roll foam surround and paper cone.
-
Very nice Tommy! That DP looks sick.
-
LOL I dont think he is worried about it dropping the lows.. This is a SPL build.

Question on running my 40.1 at .5 ohm
ssackett replied to Loud01Blazer's topic in Incriminator Audio
Those amps are built like tanks and preety dang effcient. You will be ok I think. But the only way to find out is to try it and see how your electrical holds up. -
Denim, Sorry things got off topic. My apologies. I understand your reason for concern. Ill make sure things stay on topic in the future.

BumpinBuick will be doing some test this coming weekend and will have t/s parameters for those that are interested.
-
A teammate of mine (Bumpinbuick on most forums) got his Omega 15's in he sill be using in a daily setup. His comp car will be using 2 18's. He will be testing them soon for those that were interested in the t/s parameters. ** Black powder coated baskets with the lime grren flakes are for team members. Regular Omegas will has a deep metalliac purple baskets.. Which i kinda like a little better LOL!! 18" baskets will just a 6 spoke design.

You will be very disapointed in my opinion. I have tried a 1500d on my BTL I had in a previous setup. Its enough power to get it moving but you would be better powering a sub that is better paired with a 1500d. If you looking to make some noise it will do the job. But dont expect much from that combo. Do get me wrong Sundowns are my favorite amps I have ran but i just dont think a 1500d is enough power for a BTL.

Hey guys not sure what happened to my old thread but i had some new vids and pics to update everyone with. These subs are taking my 3000d's with ease! I still haven't got them to break a sweat yet. VERY IMPRESSED!

look in post 3.. there are 2 vids...

I am going to be building a new enclosure here pretty soon and try one in a daily box tuned to about 33hz.. Im interested to see how they will sound then..
-
I have been really busy these last few days but i got a chance to run a couple burps then my neighbors started complaining. I still need to do a lot of work but still managed a 147 @ 43hz seald on the dash with my car off. I was happy with it considering i haven't done much to it since i installed the gear the other night. I know i have a lot of work to do but i know there is a 150 in the set up. Just need to do some fine tuning. First thing is designing a new box Sorry for the quality.. Lttle something i did on my way to work on the side of the road. My car sounds like a tin can!! HA HA HA!! ** VID ** http://s285.photobucket.com/albums/ll67/te...nt=FILE0231.flv My flexing isn't as crazy as past setups but i have also never tuned any of my boxes to 42hz. Here is another short vid for you guys. Still haven't got the subs to break a sweat to. Still very happy!! ** VID ** http://s285.photobucket.com/albums/ll67/te...nt=FILE0232.flv

Work my cousin and I put in the other night!! Got port? Best batteries i have ever used! Had to get creative... I was able to fit both 3000d's in my wheel well

They are very powerful. Check out the power test that are stickied here in the Sundown Forum.

Its in the works. I am in the process of my rebuild. Got a ton of 2/0 welding cable. 4 Stinger SPV70's and i am in the process of saving some cash for a new mechman 200-250 amp alternator.. I hope thats enough. Only 4 of those ? Yep! They are strong batts. Running 2 40.1's would be for comps. Daily i would probably just run them off 1 40.1 but i was curious how these would hold up daily on that much power.
