Then why are you buying a power acoustic amp? Oh and that thing is gonna be hard to sell when you upgrade. Are you going to have enough cubes in the contour to run a dp 21? dont they need like 10 cubes? well, what then? i dont want to wait a long ass time till i can afford a real amp. i want at least something to listen to. and yeah, trunk is plenty big.

what would you do? cadence? or sundown?
-
people, i believe the first time is the only time to do it right, i will be getting a new alt, two batteries, and 0 gauge all over. this isn't some half assed ghetto stereo. this is my entrance into the true audio world.
-
this is chitowntibird just at deepsubdudes crib. so basicly for lows the icons would be better?? i dont really understand what your saying.
-
If you still have em, when i have the cash, i will check them out. pics please?

I have been doing some research, and have come up with absolutely nothing. Where could i buy one of these? here is a link to Audiopulse's page: http://www.audiopulse.com/products/components/rmb TC sounds FTW!!!!

I don't beleive PartsExpress carries the RMB, and there is no dealers list! what can i do to find one? just call and thats it?

I like that idea! But its not my car....

School sucks ass. It is underfunded, teachers work hard for no pay, students work hard for straight C's because the system could give a f**k if they suceed, as long as they show up. (i believe the only reason the schools implement such strict rules as per attendance, is because they get paid a bit more if more students show up!)

how many Amps (electrically speaking) do i need to play a sax100.4 at a decent level? and how about at 100.2? thanks.

thats what iam working on yo, the safety aspect. wires concealed, taped up properly, made into a very nice package. with a retractable cord to charge with, so disassembly isnt required. Even if you made it safe, which you cannot. It is still a tool to only be a public menace. Please stop being such an inconsiderate little prick. I don't even know what to say anymore. Anything i do is the wrong thing, nothing i do is the right thing. I cant afford home audio, i cant get a car because i am not old enough. This is my outlet, my one thing to do! And i just found out my parents are getting me a new computer instead of the icon! So i am out of ideas. And you don't even take into consideration that i have slowly removed myself from others whilst playing my music? There is a subdivision that was abandonded halfway through completion (noone lives there) down the road from me, i usually go there now, to test and just chill with friends. I am out of the loop, I don't know what to do!!!

Pioneer all the way.....at least in terms of midbass + tweets

I can't ever afford a powered woofer, seeing as i have no income. and before anyone even says it, i bought the backpack supplies with a bag of quarters the ex tried to smash my head in with, which i later took on top of which, it blew all my speakers. i cant afford even measly 125w speakers.
-
bridged max @ 2ohm i believe...........
-
And by mounting them isobaric you cut their efficiency in half as well. Really, really stop with the back pack nonsense and grow up. There is a reason they were referred to as ghetto-blasters in the past and if that is what you want for your future continue on this path. M5, i really only want to do this now, because i need to refine my methods and make it a little better before i can start selling them. as retarded as it sounds, people at school actually want to buy these things.
-
really? i thought they would be pretty beast cuz of the amout of excursion they had. but hey, about the amp, i already have a 200w i am trying out. works well off of power i have. blew my tweets, have to replace but still have the horns and the bose so its good for now. this one is mostly a see-if-i-can type deal, seeing as that till i sell my surround reciever (PM me about it, pretty sweet) i have no cash money for home audio. thanks for honest opinions, gotta love em
-
well, i personally think we could use a bit more music at school. but thats just me.
-
i just wanted to ASK you guys at SSA if i could possibly have a custom built woofer. an iCon 5d2 to go in my backpack system. i would much prefer over the tang bands, because knowing you guys, it would have at least like 200w rms handling lol. thanks for tolerating my stupidity! -Chris

idk, just thought it would fit better. now that i think about it, i could probably make a slot port through the center, and make it sound a bit better.
-
Yessir, new bag. I have a PowerWheels battery, which is of course, 12v. I believe it says 10 amps.I would be pushin' isobaric tang band 6's. thats why i am leaning towards the 100.2. I would parallel the two woofers, then series the tweets. here they are, my high excursion babies: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=264-832 and you all are familiar with this thing: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/zencart...p;products_id=4 Now. give me some feedback on this idea. not that it would be played publicly cuz I would get like, jumped, but czech thiz out. one of these, in a small sealed tube: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=293-262 and one of these powering it (i already have it =P) http://2007.bluehost.fresh.co.il/02/12/92702260.jpg

Advantages of TL and bandpass enclocures?
SpeakerBoy replied to imhungnurnot's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
Jim, what would be the approximate estimation of the outer dimensions of a t-line for an icon 15? -
What? lol just sayin, yeah i definetly would enjoy soundboard or sumthin like that. though it would be hard not to screw with the the bass knob lol

They put the meter on a stand that is 6' from the vehicle and 4.5' off the ground and it takes a 30 second average. Thanks for the suggestion but i know airforces peaks at 41hz. It would be a great song if I peaked in that range. sorry
