  1. Hey what happened to (2) NS 15's? That would be louder, due to surface area.

So like ///M5 said what have you listened to do so we can help you decide what you like, if none then find some focal dealers in your area and go give them a listen (the only way to tell what you would like, nobody can tell you what you will like). i'll check out their site then. Dealer loactor button isnt working, Emailed though.

    Sweet, thanks.
  4. Look man, I don't mean to be a dick about it, I just don't want you to buy some awesome (and expensive) stuff, and burn it out. Trust me, 2krms per 15" is going to murder your ears in a good box. The NS's are only rated for 1500wrms anyway. Try one 3000D or 3500D to keep it simple. Just order d1's and wire it at 1ohm.

I thought there was one that showed a top veiw of all the waves in the room, to help with aiming the speakers... time delay was a side function though.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Nifty, my first post in the IHoP.....
  8. You need to DOUBLE your power to gain 3db. thats BARELY noticable. BARELY. to double in volume you need to gain 10dB

    12 RE SE 12s

Yeah, that is a concern but I love my wall only incident I've seen with a walled build where the car went through a wreck, the vehicle rolled over several times and the wall kept the roof from collapsing and killing the driver. So I guess if you build it strong enough it can provide safety. sick build though, box looks great, can't wait to see it all finished and with more power! Sundown FTW!
  11. Dude, You wouldn't gain anything by running it at .5ohm, unless you are competing, because you wont hear the difference.

I was asking what Focal models would suit my preferences, from the above post.

    Bump.
  14. The warranty is void on Sundown amplifiers if you run it at at .5ohm Why do you have to run it at .5ohm? You gain very little, ESPECIALLY if you aren't competing. You most likely wont hear the difference. The Nightshades are only rated for 1500rms anyway.

If i have a bluetop under the hood big three in two runs of 0ga (basically, doubling up), one (or two, working out kinks) 250-300A alts, and 4-6 runs of 0ga to the back, to three(or four, if i get dual SAZ-4500D's) D3100's how short would i theoretically have to have the dual 0ga to the SAZ-4500D(or two....Not sure) to get the most out of the batts and amp, mostly for comp concerns? holy crap, lotsa wire! Thanks, -Chris
  19. No. buy dual 1 ohm, and run the first NS at 2 ohm then buy another dual 1, and another 2000D and link @ 2ohms for the full 4000+rms

Whoa... I better prepare my ears But my total is now over 6 grand, without the car or insurance.....

Really? By more power do you mean more amplifier power, or amperage? Yeah, like a SAZ-4500 PER woofer more power. Really? Their that badass? It's a daily+comp, probably gonna do a 26hz port for daily, and 38-48 (wherever the eclipse peaks) for comps. Damn, thats another grand right there....Well worth the investment though
