I do work (at Mcdonlads incidentally lol). Military isnt an option, I have too many meds to be considered even a bit (all for dep, bi-p, hally's etc). And on top of that, fighting a massive substance abuse issue. It's an on off thing, I will go really good when nothing bad happens for a while, then when stuff like this pops up, i'm off the map for months.

Simply, can you have too much motor force on a subwoofer driver? If it is application dependent, I am referring to applications where music is being played, and if that isn't specific enough, let's say C&S songs. Decaf, all that stuff. Just curious, thanks!

M5, all I have to say is you have to learn that you can't change other people, you can only change how you act around them. Maybe less hostility could make people consider your words more? Oh yeah. I'd certainly feel that way, at the very least. Actually that doesn't work, tried it. My goal is to make you think. If you aren't willing to I don't care if I help you, but if you are I'll go the extra mile. Quite literally, giving up is weaksauce. I'm always willing to learn, you just gotta be cool about it. You can be firm or like, not fun about it, just don't be mean, ya know? I'm not trying to fight about it, I just want it to work somewhat smoothly here.

This is my home stereo. It is a sorry jumble of car audio equipment. Feel free to comment, good or bad, within reason. Remember, i am looking for feedback on how to improve, without spending too much. The Whole Shebang Top View My Mids My Power Supply My Headunit Amp Controls Amp Number Thingy Amp Brand Back of woofer. I didn't feel like unscrewing it, but here is a picture of the setup the sub was purchased with. Exact same woofer, but i sold that other one to a friend. http://ep.yimg.com/ip/I/millionbuy_2051_58365261 For the amount i paid for the system, brand new, ($110, w/ shipping) it was pretty straight. l liked it, but I needed a few parts for my computer so i sold one woofer, the box, and the amp to friend. now i have it in a cut-in-half middle ported box. I am ashamed of it, so I didnt take any pics. I have to put it on the floor, to keep it a port, instead of a hole in the box. it sounds decent, peaks around 40ish. i guess its better than nothing. One thing i did not get a picture of, is the battery. i have an Interstate 1000 CCA battery inside the box. Dad wont let me keep it outside, because of the possibility of an acid leak. The power supply runs too the battery, then to the amp, then another run from the battery to the HU. Thanks for any positive feedback!! -Chris

I have no idea what that sub likes, but every sub i've had likes a bigger box in the house (I am assuming the Orion is a car sub). I had no trouble getting my 10" loud on 30-40wrms, just made a big box (for a 10" that is, 2.4cuft internal), and tuned medium-low.

For the money I paid, my pair of twelves that came with box and amp were excellent. Keep in mind, I paid ~$110 + shipping for box, amp, wiring (Got jokes if you call that power wire, my tweeters need bigger wire ) and (2) 12's. They prefer sealed boxes imo, but handle a bit more than rated no prob (rated @ 250rms, had a single 12 on a RF200.2 bridged). Clipped hard, barely got warm. Mechanically, it compares to a wet noodle, so be careful.

And btw, nobody gets a "new life", if you believe in God, you get a "after life". And since nobody has it as a 100% fact what we get after we die on earth, nobody can really say one way or another. But its their RIGHT to believe whatever they want. So if you believe everybody should believe in one religion or idea, maybe you need to go live in a country who MAKES you believe whatever they decided fOr YOU. Yes.
