I used the search feature and all i can find is threads where people want a recone. Questions: 1. Is there a link to something that explains exactly what a recone is 2. What are the benefits? 3. When do you know when you need a recone?

    Wiring Help

Thanks that makes sense. The guys at this local shop will install everything for around 180.00... should i give it a try or just pay them to do it? i might stick to the safe side and let them do it. Only problem is they don't have any 1/0 gauge wire at this shop he said i'll have to buy it myself What other kinds of wires/fuses would be sufficient for this setup?

    Need Box Design Help

Hey thanks for the diagram, that helps alot with a visual I might be pushing it height and width wise but i think it'll fit. Flared Ports vs the one shown here? besides the fact that you stated they need less port area. Could you draw up something with flared ports? Im considering this option.

    Need Box Design Help

I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to box specs, i tried to read and learn but its not clicking for me. Ported to 32-33htz idk how much of a difference between the two would be. Yet to buy and amp looking @ 1500RMS though
  21. Topics is pretty self explanatory, i was considering brands like -Kicker -RF -Hifonics Question is what model i would need and how much RMS power to push this Sub??? all suggestions appreciated thanks

    Couple QUICK Questions

Ok here it goes the two subs are (15 BL, Daily, dual 2) vs (15 Q, Daily, Dual 2) 1. Both are suggested to run 1000 RMS so how much more power can the BL safely run vs the Q? The only options i can actually add to the BL for daily are: - Cooling option - Universal - Flatwind (is this even necessary for a daily driver?) 2. Can i safely run 1500 RMS on the BL 3. If the Q is a SQ sub, am i going to lose that SQ and get distortion from the BL ?? If anyone has AIM and doesn't mind talking to me on there i would appreciate it greatly thanks
