Install dependent and how careful you are... For one the Box is rather large. Smaller box = Better power handling.

Recommend: 12 BL or 15 BL for 05 Accord plus box size
vanquish replied to B_digital's topic in General Fi
The Q was a good choice if you're going sealed to save room. Here's my last setup 15" BL 3.5cube box in a 2004 Accord LX so you can a general idea of how much room is taken up. -
x2. btw jon is the one who convinced me to go with the BL

Got a few questions about my setup before i order everything so help would be appreciated. In order to prevent further displacement I'm considering adding a baffle to the outside of the enclosure. - Will this be a sufficient amount of support for the sub vs a baffle on the interior? - When using Psp.com's calculator for aeroports it asks to input "Volume of Box in Cubic Feet" is this before or after all displacements? - Can someone provide a link for instructions or a diagram on how i am supposed to wire under hood batter>trunk battery>amps - How should i wire the (2)saz1500's to (2)FI BL Dual 1 looking to get the whole 1500w to each sub individually? - Suggest a budget trunk battery under $200 that'll be good for this particular setup. Not looking to buy multiple batteries just have space and funds for ONE. Thanks in advance.

Yes, i've seen one in a couple different civics.. Mine fits fine in an accord bout to try and squeeze in 2 bl 15's soon
-
appreciate the input guys.

Hows this sound to you guys. (2)15 Bls Box: 17x39x22 = 6.54cubes (after displacement) Will (2)4in flared ports be enough port area or not enough? suggestions please

I'm at 32hz and I don't think i would change it for anything else. Pounds the lows and handles most notes in the highs but you can defiantly tell when they're out of range. I'm in the process of adding another BL and building a new box but it'll still be tuned to 32hz

I read the instructions in the FAQ's section but i'm still somewhat confused. If i have (2)saz1500s strapped together i will still be getting a (1ohm) load correct? I am going to be running (2)FI BL - dual 1 so will run into a problem strapping these two amps together for my setup? Should i look into purchasing dual 2's instead
-
I guess that would be the easiest way my only concerns are try to set the gains on both amps so they match. I'm still curious about bridging/Strapping the amps just for future reference. (2) 1ohm mono amps strapped would be a 1ohm load or would it change to 2ohms?

I'm clueless on whats making the loud humming sound from my 6x9's p.s. The ground looks fine as far as i can tell but get this.. also (Trunk Open = No Noise)
-
No i don't think so.. well the shop installed it then wrapped it in carpet to blend in with the car. i have no idea though
-
1. Is there a tutorial on the correct way to make a "ground" for 6x9s?... what size wire to use, etc. 2. My amp is mounted on the back of my back seat, ontop of a wooden/carpted board. 3. power wire is ran down the driver side to the front... Rca's connected in the trunk next to 6x9s where the high/low is located

actually that helps a lot, thanks man.
