I believe they are M6. Take the motor into the hardware store if you need to verify.

Hello, I'm looking into purchasing a Blown SPL12, and was curious if the motor is the standard 6 bolt. I know the MJ's are different so I figured I would ask. Next question is, are the 15" 4 spoke baskets Mach5 sell's standard 6 bolt as well? Will the SPL15 recone work with the 15" 4 spoke basket? Thanks guys!

Does anyone know the gap measurments of the older MJ motor?
-
I am. He has just been active, so I didn't know

Please be patient. Mark is currently away on vacation. I am sure answering his emails will be a priority as soon as he gets back. Do you know when he is coming back?
-
Well, no return to my Email, or my PM on CA and I dont beleive your on ****, this is the last place I can try. Its weird, Mach5 is usually really good at returning my Emails. I am interested in knowing when I can order SVC2 ohm recones. I need 2 Recones and 1 basket (needed 2 but I found one MJ basket quicker then you guys responded). If I cant order them yet, please let me know when I may be able to order them, instead of ignoring me. Also if you could PM me a price for 2 SVC2 recones + 1 basket shipped to 53597 that would be great. I know the SCV4 price, but I know the driver price changed a little. Please give me confidance in your company again. I am starting to regret selling my DMX motor to go with Mach5 only because I think I am being ignored. Not a great feeling.

My dad is looking for a nice even musical sub. He doesnt care about loud but wants sq. Would this sub in about a cube sealed fit the bill?
-
Thats a mamoth port. I think they are the 05 models but I could be wrong. I did my first recone on a 15" BTL and it wasent to hard just be patient. Nice subs thought.

To me, anything's going to sound like ass at that volume. Sound quality involves having subbass that blends well with the front stage, and unless you're trying to fill Wembley Arena 150dB is just way too much. Just a question of where your priorities lie...my point was that in an SPL-oriented install the Mag will get up there. But you can't have the best of both worlds at once. Thank you for explaining it a litle better. Now as far as power, can the mag take 1200w in a ported box?
-
If it dosent sound very good, I might be better off with the BTL..hmm hard to choose....
-
Will the mag still be loud? I know the BTL is a SPL sub but I hear everywhere the mag is a loud sub that sounds good doing it, and I would only run the ED untill I bought a second mag.

Hello, I currently Have a Fi 18" BTL fully loaded, and have the opertunity to trade for a SI 15" Mag and possibly a Ed NINe.1. I know the sound is very install dependent, but would I notice an increase in sound quality? Also would the Mag be able to come anywhere close the SPL of a btl? I would probably run it in a 3-4 cuft box tuned to 33hz, or purchase a second mag and run it in a 5 cuft sealed box, each sub has a 2.5cu ft chamber.

Does Di make a recone for a MTX 8500 10" OR could it be done with a different basket? If so whats the price for a recone. (BTL and SSD if you use the series in those recones)

Hello, Does anyone know what type of metal the BTL basket is, along with the exposed metal on the magnet? I would imagin Nick knows. My best guess would be aluminum but im not sure. also what type of material is used to paint the Basket?
