You said in your first post you were thinking multiple sub's? Why not have one just for movies and the other for music? Push terminals for connections on the boxes for easy switching. You said it was a smaller room so you shouldn't need multiple 18s. Just my 2¢ -
I've had my eye on these for a while. For the price they seem like a great deal. I take it you would recommend these? Any chance of a video?

I try to have the least amount of bends in mine, the length has to do with tuning. Have you thought about aero ports?

Used deadener? Will that still stay where its supposed to or would it just vibrate loose once some bass gets going?

They are entry level subs... For some a 12" might be enough, for others a 15 wouldn't. But in the end it all comes down to the box.

Can you rate the type R's on a scale from 1-10 for how they sound to you? Why not get a new set if you liked them?
