This is PG's low pass level controller. Does anybody know if it matters what side of the car I run this down? Should it be kept separate from the power wire like the RCA's or does it not matter? Should I even use it? Does it come in handy or not? Just curious because I need to get this in there soon if I'm gonna use it. Thanks, Jim

I hate mosquitos. B*tches. Even in my garage. Sorry. 'Tis all glued down and ready to go. Next stop: Fleeceville. Hopefully tomorrow or Monday I can spend some quality time with it. Probably Monday. KISS concert tomorrow night. I need to get it 'glassed and carpeted so I can hook up my sub. It hurts to see it sitting right over there. Just waiting. Stalking. Begging to be put to work. Soon. Very soon.

I think switchable is the way to go. Just to show everyone what SI is capable of. You can get low with just some little 'ole 8's, or you can rip there head off with the 12". Really stand out in the crowd ya know.

I got my 12" Magnum today. Such an amazing looking work of art. I am hoping to get my amp rack done and get it in the car this weekend. Then I just need to wait for my 302's and then I'm done. Who hoo. It starting to feel good. I am really excited about it now.

Yah. Definitely email Nick. Awesome guy to deal with. Will definitely take care of you. And it is a MUCH better sub. -
Seems like straight across is the fav over here so far. Of course that would mean my wife wins. That is her favorite. I was leaning towards the Vshaped before I went completely numb staring at the pucker.
-
Thank you sir. Duely noted. Anyone else?

Or B: Isn't it perrty All of this will be fiberglassed and carpeted just like the sub box. So you kinda have to use your imagination a little. What do you think? In a V shape or straight across?

Pics hopefully tonight or tomorrow. Yah all SI. I farted with the idea of changiing my order to the 327's, but decided against it. I figure if the 302's are not enough for me then I can always upgrade, right. Hopefully I can get this damn upgrade bug out of my ear and be happy with what I have. I must say that Nick runs a real class operation. Absolute best customer service I have had yet dealing with internet companies. And as I get older, service far outweighs price. Luckily I get both with SI. Now, out to the garage.

Does anyone know the actuall physical dimensions of the crossovers for the 302's? Or the 327's for that matter. I have a piar of 302's ordered but am thinking about switching to the 327's if I get am email back from Nick. I am currently beginning work on my amp rack and would like to know the dimensions. Specifically the l x w. Anyone help out here? I know a few of you guys have the 302's. Maybe Sundownz or Nick can throw out the dims for the 327's. Thanks, Jim

Here is a picture of my box. I can't really get any mat down in to the corners. I was hoping the spray would do the trick. I don't want to try something and mess up my box. Too much money and too much time invested.

Has anybody used the Cascade stuff from PE? http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=268-250 I am thinking about spraying the inside of my box with it. Just curious if it works well or if I should even use it? I would like to be 110% sure it is sealed and get rid of any resonances that might exist. What do you think?

Is there any easy way to get rid of small dips and valleys in the surface of a fiberglass box besides just gettin' at it with a sander? I just about have the whole thing covered with Bondo body filler and am working it over with my Mouse sander. I notice there are some small dips or valleys here and there (actually all over). If I try to get each individually, it will take a lot of time and I am concerned with the body filler hardening before I am done. Should I just mix each batch in very minute quantities? Is there an easier way that I am not noticing? Anyhow, back to the sander it is. 90 degrees outside and I am in a garage with no fan. Damn addiction.

Hello all. I just finished up my fiberglass box today. I am posting a link to my gallery at ED's galleries. Can someone tell me how to post pics in the thread so I don't have to link to it. This box is about 1.8 or so cubic feet. I measured volume with packing peanuts. So it is not exact. Now I have to move onto my amp rack and then my doors. This fiberglassing thing aint too bad. kinda fun once you figure it out. Anywho, here is the link. Please let me know what you think and any comments. Thanks, Jim http://www.edesignaudio.com/gallery/showga...t=500&ppuser=52

Sorry. I only come here for the SI section. Maybe I should venture out into the rest of the forum. What's it like out there?

Those of you that are running HO alts, what do you have and where did you get them? I will be coming into a little bit of money in about a week and think I might get one. I have a 99 Alero with 110 amps stock alt. I have a PG t1200.1 and a PG t500.2 to run. I want to be sure they get all the juice they deserve. Looking for suggestions. If anyone has Iraggi's email I would gladly take that as well. Thanks, Jim

Does anybody know if the 302's crossover can stand up to being mounted in the door? They will not be exposed to water or whatnot, but will they survive the opening and closing of the door on a daily basis? Just kinda had a thought about how to install them.
-
So when will these be available?
-
Yep. Me. Whoo hooo
-
Does anybody know if the generic grills they sell at Parts Express will work for the 302's? If not, do you have any suggestions on grills for these?

Heard that. I have probably lost as much money buying and selling equipment as I have invested in this setup. Really sad if you sit down and think about it. And that is exactly what I told my wife. It's time to stop "keeping up with the jones" or trying to have the newest greatest thing. So don't come out with anything new, OK Nick? I feel confident that I have purchased quality equipment and I am going to concentrate on the install. So thanks in advance for all the questions you guys will be answering here soon.-Jim

Not my install. I finally made my decision. Stopped draggin' my feet and sent Nick some money. I have a Magnum and a set of 302's on their way soon. I must say that Nick is very patient and awesome to deal with. Of course you guys know this already. Now I just need to get the Magnum hooked up to my PG t1200.1 and the 302's hooked to my PG t500.2. Hopefully this will be a system that I can live with for a long time. Done playing the what do I want in there today game, if you know what I mean.

Number 2 sounds much better. What is on the front?
-
Pics of my setup. I wish. I am not even close to that stage yet. This is so slow going it's not even funny. I just want to try to plan ahead a little. When I get there though, I will surely post up some pics.

Anybody tried anything like this? Just lookin for some ideas.
