lol not yet, the first sub was underpowerd and cuaght fire on the negitive lead, the second sub was on 5k with no fire but again negitive lead toasted and broke off, this is a new recone on this sub and it dnt even get warm,also it doesnt smell at all.

i Have the radio turned up to volume 44 thats the loudest it gets with clean signal. the sub has a month old recone and its loving it. the sub is a 18" Dual 1 ohm wired @ 2ohms. the amps are Strapped @ 2ohms. i am not trying to blow it up lol ,but since its so easy to get it replaced and back up and running im am curious on much power can it handle. so i decided to make a vid LOL

by the way i know sundown NS-1 is 6,500 watts of power,but i have 2 straped @1ohm and getting 9500 to 10,000 watts of power due to lack of power thats why i say 5 k on each sub. i love SSA and im not backing out on them SSA FTW

it lasted one month total,i say 5,000 watts of power on each sub. before i had only one SUNDOWN NS-1 amp on 2 ssa evils@1ohm wich would be 2500 watts on each sub.....for a total of 4 months and one of the subs caught fire

SSA FTW,the SUB is so EVIL that the Negetive Lead cant keep up LOL

It Luaghs at 5,000 Watts, it Loves Power, it can handle More then 6,000 watts...............but the negetive lead was toasted and broke free. We had goodtimes lol
