    Box Build for Skip01

This box is 7 cubes at 32 hz. Will house some custom built 15" woofers IIRC. Will be ported using 5- 4" precision ports. Also features a flush mount TRIPLE baffle and some full round bracing. Here are some of the build pics so far...

    Box Build for Skip01

Im not 100% sure, but I believe its going in an Explorer. Heres the final pics. Customer requested some pink plaid material on the sides. Was going for "something a little different." He will be painting the ports pink as well I believe.
  3. Something like this maybe?

    Back From the Dead

Thanks guys. Last 6 months have been hectic... Working a lot of OT at my "real job", so the little free time I had, I tried to enjoy while the weather was nice. Now that its going to be getting cold soon, time to get some use out of the heater I put in the shop last winter.

    Fisher Customs Enclosure Pricing

Yes I do. They are based on a box to box basis due to size, design, and shipping costs.

    Trupan Light

I have not done TONS of research on this topic, however I understand that MDF is relativiely high in Formaldhyde. It is used in the glues to make the product. Trupan, is supposed to be free of this apparently. However, when cutting or routing wood, a respirator should ALWAYS be used. Chemicals or not, fine dust is harmful to breathe in. I get Trupan at a local lumberyard. Check around, they should be able to order it in for you if they do not stock it.
  11. Designs are now able to be purchased directly through FisherCustoms.com/store for $12 a piece. Between Chris and I, we are updating the store with the majority of the designs he has done over the years (and its more than just a few). This will take a lot of time to get everything up and running, but I feel, when its all said and done, can be very beneficial to the customer. The enclosure designs range anywhere from a simple sealed box, to flared port boxes with plexiglass windows, and beyond. Each design is displayed a simple, easy to view and understand format (SketchUp). All the layouts are pretty straight forward. The customer can find a design that will fit their needs, and just purchase the plans. This will mainly benefit the customer looking to build their own enclosure, and will reassure them that they are getting an accurate box design. However, they can also have Fisher Customs do the fabrication. The benefit to purchasing the plans this way will cut down on design time, as well as save a little money. Of course, Chris will still tackle any other custom designs, for the $25 design fee. I only have a few up so far, but check it out, and give us a little feedback. It sure will be appreciated. Thanks guys, B.J. Fisher

    Important Announcement from Fisher Customs

Thanks guys. Looking forward to getting back in the shop. Hopefully have things running full steam again in the next month or so.
  14. Due to some crazy hours at work lately (and not looking to slow down anytime real soon), I have made the decision that I will no longer be building enclosures for an undetermined amount of time. It has been a very, very tough decision to make, but I feel it is necessary for my customers as well as FC as a whole. I do not get to spend nearly as much time on my computer at home these days, so emails sit in my inbox. When I do have time to answer emails, it is taking away time from the shop, and time is very limited right now. Customer service is just as important to me as the quality of the final product, so I feel the only way to fairly treat my customers is by shutting down temporarily. This will not be the end of FC, just a pause until I get some more free time back on my hands. I hope everyone understands, and like I said, this was NOT an easy decision to make. If you guys could help me out, if you read anything on other boards and such about "where have we been?" etc, let them know about this. I dont want anyone to think we are ignoring emails and that sort of thing, but I will rarely be checking my account during this break. Even though the shop is closed, Dylan will still be offering the design service. You will need to contact him directly at Dylan @ FisherCustoms (dot) com. He will get you taken care of. If anyone has any questions, please post here and I will address them when possible. FC will be back! Thanks fellas!

    Box Build for kayone707

Pretty straight forward box here. Center slot port, no carpet. 4 cubes @ 32 hz for a pair of 12" Type R's.

    Box Build for 350zspl

This one is 3 cubes @ 35 hz for a trio of DD 1508's I believe. Used a pair of 4" precision ports and had to put an elbow on each. Box will be left bare and have all edges rounded over.
  18. This is a small ported box for a pair of 10" eD drivers. Will be getting the plexi engraved to say "Elemental Designs" as well. Should be a nice little box.
  19. bjfish11

    5 cubes @ 30 hz 18" Fi BL

Got an enclosure for a single 18" Fi BL. 5 cubes @ 30 hz. Also, the customer wanted a plexiglass window installed on the front panel, and the driver top firing. Onto the pics...

    Any Combos with Fi?

    Any Combos with Fi?

not necessarily.....you tell them what options you want for the subs....fisher builds the box and sends it to you and fi sends you your subs. or they could just have the option of fully loaded or "stock"....there are lots of ways they could do it. the icon loaded enclsosure isnt "loaded" when it gets to your door. they are shipped seperately. so it would work the exact same way. There is actually a couple different ways to attack something like this. I have a few ideas in mind...
