Feels good to get in the groove again. This is a pretty straight forward build for a local guy here in Wichita. Will be finished off with black carpet in the next few days. Onto the pics...

We have a big enclosure with a giant flared port. It will house a pair of 15" drivers, and also a couple plexi windows. Here are the build pics so far...

Dont recall the exact specs. Just know its for a pair of 15" Fi Bl's. Subs up, port facing back. Charcoal carpet, with Dylan's little flavor on the top panel. Here are the complete build pics.

Im sure it wont take long to figure out why the customer named it that. He is actually getting 2 different enclosures. I would say they are on opposite ends of the spectrum. First, we have 34 cubes ported, and tuned to 33 hz. And no, that is not a typo, I did say Thirty-Four! It is going to be the house for 4- 18" Fi SSD's. The second enclosure will be .35 cubes sealed. Not sure on the driver, but just a little 10. Here are the starting pics for the first enclosure...

This is a build for a 12" Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection. Customer wanted the same design as I had used in the past for the same driver. Might even be going in the same type of vehicle as well. Here are the pics so far...

I'm too lazy and don't have a table saw... i have 2 15in bls in my magnum with about 7 cuft total after after port displacement..etc and they sound great so yes there is enough room. and i cant see the top of the box in my rear view and can still see out of all 3 rear windows Would you be willing to take measurements of your box? That would be awesome.

We cant break the news yet... ; ) I can say, It will be something I have never built, and should be very cool. Not so sure I have ever seen this design before actually...

Finally getting around to posting up the final pics...

Some of you may recall, in the last year or so, Fisher Customs teamed up with SoundSolutions, Sundown, Second Skin, Stereo Integrity, as well as a couple individuals. Together we had a raffle to raise money for a much needed bone marrow transplant for a young man here in Wichita, Kansas. I received an email last week from one of Kyle's coordinators, and wanted to share it with all who was interested, because between the 2 raffles we did, we raised over $2K for him. Here is the exact email... I felt compelled to write an update after recently hearing a rumor that has been circulating, speculating that Team Kyle has stopped fundraising due to Kyle's death! Nothing could be further from the truth. Kyle is very much alive, and attending his senior year at Northeast Magnet High School. He will be 19 in January. He still lives every day in pain from Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB). He still hopes for a life-saving bone marrow transplant that would potentially allow his skin to grow and heal. While the procedure exists and has been performed for several kids suffering from RDEB at University of Minnesota - Fairview, finances still prevent Kyle and his family from pursuing this option. Even though his parents both have health insurance, as of this date, both insurance companies have denied coverage, citing the fact that a bone marrow transplant to treat RDEB is still considered "experimental". Meanwhile, a 14 year old girl, Samantha Sheridan, from Florida, recently underwent a successful transplant. She is the oldest patient to date to go through this process. Her story was broadcast on the Discovery Health channel in early December. Three Wichita area COMPETING car dealers stepped up to the plate to help Kyle after meeting him at this summer's Celebrity All Star Triathlon, a Kyle Hicks benefit. We met with Brandon Steven, Dawson Grimsley and Joe Self. These 3 men promised to raise the rest of the money we needed to get Kyle to the $500,000 goal. They told us to call the hospital, and get the transplant scheduled! My first call was to COTA's (Children's Organ Transplant Association) President. All funds raised have been held in a fund for Kyle, by COTA. COTA's President called the hospital to advise the transplant team that the $500,000 would be in Kyle's account soon. Then our world fell apart. We got the devastating news back from the hospital that because this is a clinical trial, and because there is no funding to support the trial, the estimated cost of the procedure has gone up to $1.1 million dollars. To begin Kyle's transplant, the hospital would require an upfront deposit of 80% of the potential total (that's $880,0000!). Kyle's family knows the realities of Team Kyle trying to raise this much money in our current economic times. Therefore, the family has asked that we stop active fundraising for the time being. We hope that Dr. Wagner's paper on this clinical trial will soon be published. Once that happens, Kyle's parents can go back to their insurance companies and ask for another round of appeals. We also know that time is running out. If a child with RDEB manages to live to their late teens, they succumb to deadly skin cancer generally while in their 20's. Team Kyle has been raising money for 18 months now. To date, we have raised $363,915.31. However, that leaves us a staggering $517,000 from our "new" goal. Cutsheets are not standard, but I can work one up for you quickly. 99% of our designs are designed using 3/4" material.

But i want one designed for the xcon and packaged together sub/box to save a few bucks like the icon deal This is something I will need to put on my adgenda. I must discuss this with Mark and Aaron before I make that decision. But it is something I would certainly like to offer.

After spending many hours crunching numbers, I have come up with a pricing scale for the ICON combos. I feel these prices will be very hard to compete with, if you are in the market for some ICON drivers. Chris (IonSQL) has come up with a "standard" design for each enclosure (single 10", 12", 15" and dual 10" and 12"). This pricing only applies to the standard enclosures, but discounts will be offered with custom enclosures as well. Each design was made using SSA specs, and we were shooting for a good overall daily driver system. All the enclosures (with the exception of the single 10") feature a double baffle. The driver(s) will be shipped directly from the build house. The enclosure DOES include carpet (medium gray, charcoal, or black). All prices DO INCLUDE shipping of everything. So the price you see in this thread, is the total price you will pay for the package. The pricing is as follows: Single 10 "-- $389 Box size: 1.25 cubes @ 32 hz (20" wide x 13.5" tall x 16" deep) This is a savings of $40 vs. purchasing everything separately. Single 12 "-- $429 Box size: 2.25 cubes @ 32 hz (34.5" wide x 14" tall x 16" deep) This is a savings of $40 vs. purchasing everything separately. Finally back in the shop doing some boxes here and there. Here is my first build in over 6 months... Waiting on final specs from Dylan, but its for a quartet of 10" Fi Q's. Also will feature a plexi window with some engraving on it. Here are some pics of the build.

The CNC has been down for awhile, and is finally up and running again. We ran this piece today, and it was almost finished, when something with one of the drive motors happened, and it finished up VERY rough. Hoping to get a new one run very soon...

I havent purchased MDF for well over 7 or 8 years, so I cant tell you what it runs per sheet.

I get it from a local lumberyard, Fisher Lumber. Runs a little over $30 per sheet.
