Oh definitely, if you are going to be putting a large radius roundover on the edges, brads are the best option. The screws will tear up your bits, where the brads wont.

Looks good Aaron. Cant wait to see it all finished, and hear how it sounds. What are the specs on the box?
-
Sounds good man, just let me know.
-
Actually, I havent shipped his out yet, he is over seas serving in the military. Anyways, he just notified me, that he cant use the box anymore, and is looking to sell it. If you are interested in this exact box, I can put you in touch with him. It would save you quite a bit of money. If I were to do this one again, it would be around $450 plus shipping, and shipping would run around $200. hmmm well first what are the dimensions? Cuz its just a decoration if I cant fit it in my car haha. What size are the woofer holes? Yea I know. Ill get you some more info tonight, when I get to my house. Thats where all the paperwork is, then we can go from there. Where are you from BTW? Arizona =( its so hott here haha Ok, the overall dimensions are 44 wide, 32 deep, and 18 tall. The cutout is 14 1/16" with the overall diameter cutout of 16" for a flush mount. If you need anymore info, just let me know.

I try to keep my prices pretty competitive. However, shipping costs continually keep rising. Not sure how much longer I can bite the bullet.

This is a fairly straight forward slot ported box. It will also feature a plexi window on the top, that will be engraved "SOU". The CNC part is finished, but no pics of it, due to the fact I dont want to take off the protective paper yet. The finish will be black carpet, with the inside of the box getting white paint. He is possibly going to be adding LEDs inside as well.
-
Happy Birthday Aaron. Hope you have a good one!
-
I believe this box ran $210 shipped.

After a long busy week, I finally got some time to get this one finished. The plexi was engraved on a CNC machine, with the help of my old HS shop teacher. I told him the customer will most likely be putting LEDs in the enclosure, so he recommended we use a "V-Bit". It cuts in at a V angle leaving a very smooth cut, that he said will really show up once light is put behind it. Should look very cool.

It saves A LOT of time. Not only do I not have to change out the bits, but I dont have to re-set them up again. Allows me to be much much more efficent. Time is money Well worth the added costs on the extra routers IMO.

I have a rigid tablesaw. Its a pretty good saw for the price, IMO. Came with a 36" rip capacity, which was the largest I could find under about $800. This saw was under $600 after taxes, but then I added a 55" Biesemeyer fence to it about a year and a half later. If I ever build my own shop, a new table saw will be the first big tool I get. Here are some pics of the current shop... Ill get these pics added up here shortly. http://www.caraudiojunkyard.com/forum/fish...-pics-shop.html

Thanks guys. Dont recall whats going in it. That was left out of my info I received from the designer. If I find out, Ill be sure to post it up.

I have put up the current pricing info in its own thread.

Mark and Aaron let me join the SSA team. They are allowing me to be a "ICON/Enclosure" dealer. Basically offering their drivers, in my boxes, and saving the customer quite a bit of money. More info will be posted on that, if the interest is there, and of course if its OK with the SSA fellas. This box, is 4.25 cubes @ 32 hz for a pair of 12" ICONS. It will be the "standard" enclosure in the dual 12 ICON package. Here are the pics from the build-up...

Thanks man.

LOL, well put it this way Mark. If I were to build this again, it would cost quite a bit more...
-
Thanks Aaron.

Looks good Mark. Thanks. Cant wait to get some activity here.

The dims are 4.25 cubes @ 32 hz (37" wide x 16" tall x 22" deep). I have a pricing scale set up, but its sort of up in the air at the moment. I need to re-evaluate some shipping costs. If you want the price, go ahead and send me a pm. Here is the box all completed:
