I actually did one awhile back. However, its not a tutorial for a standard box, it uses my build technique. Here is the link though: http://www.caraudiojunkyard.com/forum/fish...g-tutorial.html Maybe someday I can do it again, and do a little better job.

Little more progress tonight. I got the second enclosure carpeted. The customer is going to be mounting them together once he gets them in the truck, so I drilled and installed the threaded inserts for him. I ended up using 8 of the 3/8" inserts with bolts. It held them together very well. Those things wont be separating.

Thats awesome man. I do appreciate that.

I noticed some changes being made. Looking good Mark. Thanks man. -
I noticed that also Aaron. But I believe Dylan designed it off of an image that was given to him by the customer. Thanks for the props

I was just informed this is for a 12" Fi Q.

Finally got a little more done on this project. I have one of the two parts completely finished, and the second is 80% carpeted. Im getting the threaded inserts to put them together tomorrow, and going to install them. Then it will be ready to package up and send out.

Damn, Mark that didnt take long for you to go live with it. Need some feedback on it. Personally, Im diggin' it so I dont care what ya'll say. LOL -
Thanks guys Dont recall exactly how long it took, but probably around a week to a week and a half from the time I started on it to when I shipped it out.

Right on. This box features 2 port inserts and a plug to run sealed. If I remember right the tuning was 35 and 45 hz.

Here are a few more pics...

I have had these on my camera for over a month now. Was just going to delete them, but decided I would post them up, just for the heck of it. And that one that doesn't quite resemble a sub box, well it was a beer pong table for a friend's house. LOL

Trevor, dont you work in your garage? I thought I have seen some pics, and it looked pretty good to me. Got any pics? Whats your plans for a new shop? Aaron, where can I get one of those tables?
-
Thats actually the finished product. He already had the aeros to install himself, and he wanted it left bare. Maybe he will send me some pics of it installed though.

Thanks fellas

Thanks Aaron. If I can keep up the way things are going, Im looking to build my own shop at my house, instead of using my parents. The Broncos logo is actually a vinyl decal stuck on the underside of the glass.

Yes, it has been in the test box I pictured earlier. With and with out some polyfil to mess with approx sizing. As it did well in that box, I cannot take that performance as what will reach production because of the limitations of the basket, so the changes could effect output and clarity. Meaning the adjusted version for production might not like the box I am using, it might preform better in a smaller box for example. If we wanted to, we could move to production with the 8 as it is now, but we wanted a little more out of the driver so it would really stand out. I like the sound of that

Im not sure on the specifics. He forwarded me the design straight from Pete, and we just moved from there. Im sure he will post a lot of info I left on in the thread over on ca.com. So I will update this one when I find out.

No problem man. I know its a beast, lol. Even if you could fit it in, you still need the HP to drag it around, haha. Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it.

Haha. Thanks Mark Should have a few more build logs up soon. Getting really busy again...
