Always happy to see excited customers. Make sure you post up some pics when you get it all installed. And thanks for the compliments Mark, I appreciate it
-
Glad to hear it arrived safely. Thanks again.

Cool. Cant wait to see the pics.

This box will feature a flared port, and a top mount double baffle. I believe it is for a pair of Type R's. Will be finished off with charcoal carpet.
-
^^Haha. Once I get the compressor back up and running, this is on. Just need to get it up and running, or no carpet on the box
-
Dont recall the driver for this enclosure, but it will be finished off in black carpet.
-
Awesome. You going to post installed pics up?

Kicker zx1000.1. Plus I already put the driver back in my daily box. Someday, I may upgrade to a pair.

My compressor is running forever tonight. Not filling up at all it seems. I was worried at first, but could the humidity be to blame for such a slow fill up time? Im gaining about 10 pounds of pressure every 5 mins or so.

It doenst get used a ton really. Just to run the air gun for spraying glue on enclosures. I did check the air filter, it seemd to be in good shape.

I sure hope its not wore out yet, its 3 years and about 2 weeks old. Of course, comes with a 3 year warranty... Its a Kobalt 60 gallon, not sure on the model, but its the lower end model. I have thought about the piston rings, but I really have no idea what to look for to check that kind of stuff out. Good idea on pulling out the main line, I will check that out tomorrow. That will probably give me a better idea, hopefully.

Just changed the oil after I started having the problem. That was my first guess as well. Didnt solve anything though. I also checked for leaks. Although the leak would have to be pretty big for the compressor to not be able to keep up with the leak.
-
Its definitely going to be a pretty sweet box when its all done. Im hoping to get started on it tonight. Wanted to start this weekend, just ran out of time.
-
You mean the center of the front panel? The box is pretty small actually, so Im not worried about any sort of flex. Plus both the top and front are doubled up already.
-
Yes, to flush the plexi, we have to use a double baffle anyways. Looks like Dylan just went ahead and set you up with a flush mount baffle for the subs as well.
-
Thanks. Actually charcoal is the most common color I use. But lately, I have done quite a few black ones as well.
-
Thanks Aaron Here it is all completed. Too bad I didnt have an amp capable of running the pair...
-
Here is a pic: With this box, I will be doing something I have never done before... the custom shaped plexi. Hopefully it wont be any harder than expected.
