Sounds good Carl. Im sure David will be right at home, INSIDE the bigger half. Andrew, haha. Its bigger in person than it looks in the pics, I think. Am I right?
-
Thats great news man. I do appreciate you helping me with that. We are still on for the CNC work tomorrow. Should see it all completed then.
-
Thanks guys.
-
Yea, $25 extra for the flared port. Other than looking sick, it does help cut down on possible port noise.
-
Glad to hear you are safe man. Ill get this enclosure finished up in the next couple days then.
-
Not a problem at all man. Ill see you tomorrow. You have my number, so just give me a ring when you get close.
-
You trying to get me on the bad side of the Canadian Government? lol
-
Haha, thanks Aaron. How about I build something at my house, and I will rent you out some space? Price will depend on the exact internal volume. The pricing scale I use can be found on my website. If there are any questions, just shoot me an email. Here is the completed box...

This is probably the easiest way to place your order for a custom design: http://www.fishercustoms.com/store/index.p...f4c6010e0eb5e38 There are also some designs that are already done on the site, for $12. So if you can find one of those that will work well for you, that will save you a little time and money. Or you can email Chris directly, Chris (at) fishercustoms (dot) com.

Haha. Really, with a little practice and a lot of patience, building boxes is very easy. Just have to be able to take your time and pay attention to the details.
-
Well that stinks. I went by the dimensions given on the JL site, then I always cut then 1/8" larger. Ill definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for the heads up.

LOL. Got some bad news. Due to all the rain today, we were not able to get the CNC work done. Got 6.75" at the shop. Barely was able to make it back home. Got it rescheduled for Monday morning.
-
CNC work is scheduled for 3 today. If all goes well, this will be shipping out on Monday morning.
-
This is a sealed box built to JL's specs. Will end up being bare.
-
We had to scrap the raised G5 idea. The pieces were so thin, it was impossible to cut out with a jig saw. Here is the finished enclosure.
-
This is the twin of the other sealed box with the Passive Radiators I did today. It will also feature a raised "G5" logo on each side panel, and will be finished with carpet.
-
Carl, wanted to post here to verify the terminal locations. If the side with the port is the "front", this is the "back" of the enclosure. Viewing the back side, located on the lower right hand corner. Am I right?
-
Anyone wanna see more pics?
-
This is a standard 4 cube sealed box for a pair of 12" (BL's maybe). The customer will be lighting the front with a neon, and wanted a little home for it to direct the light down the front side of the box. It will be left bare, and be color matched to the vehicles interior later on.

Something kind of crazy happened here. I dont ever recall doing an enclosure with some PR's. Then I did 2 today, haha. Both are the exact same specs, except this one chose to add a double baffle. Onto the pics...
-
If you are not sure on the specs, Chris will recommend size/tuning for you. Then you guys can talk it out.

You need to send an email to Chris (at) fishercustoms (dot) com with max dimensions, subwoofer. Specs you want (if you already know), and any other options. Or you can go to fishercustoms.com and just order a custom design from the store. It will ask for all info needed.
