Okay, so...I am going to start my build for two 15" fi bl's in the trunk of my 97 chysler sebring, I can not quite remember what specifications, but it will be about 7 to 8 cubic feet. I am not sure whether it would sound better with the port facing in side the cab or toward the opening of the trunk, the subs will be facing up, and about 30-32 hz. Any input would be appreciated Thank,

Yeah, that how I had my one 15 bl, it sounds nice, just my friend keeps telling me it would be louder with it going into the cab and I said no, I do not want to waste my time on a box and it sound like crap. Thanks for you input.

Alright, So I Have a couple of questions. Currently I am running 1/0 to a saz-1500d and a 15" Fi BL with p chamfer. My question is i'm considering buying my friends 15" BL so I can run them both, his sub does not have a p chamfer, Is that going to be a huge difference in power or sound? My friend sugested that with the right electrical set up I could possible run my 1500d at .5 ohm. I'm not sure about that. Any suggestions and Info would be appreciated. Thanks

Idk about the P Chamfer, but I do know that the SAZ-1500 can run .5ohm daily as long as your electrical is good. If you have a warranty on your amp, running it at .5 will void it. But keep your voltage up and your fine. alright, so having the big 3 and a stock battery under the hood and a kinetic 1400 or so would be okay? I am planning on getting a voltage meter to watch it. It would be okay on the amp if it stays above what voltage, 12?

Yeah, I've heard about the new BL's but i'm not sure whats different about them. Is there a post that explains them I can look at?
-
I would say...you can't go wrong with an ssd for the price, I've heard a 10" mmm that sounded good.

I have a friend thats pretty familiar with Fi and and most audio, he has told me that Fi is coming out with a 22" speaker in the future. I'm just wondering if thats a lie.

Hey, I was wanting to know if you have gotten that number.

I was wanting to know some information on warranties, today i was listening to my 15 and in made a horrible sound and I shut it off instantly and I took it out of the box to look at it because I tried to push on the sub a little bit to see if there was any movement and there wasnt but I can push it from the back and it moved up, but the i noticed the magnet has cracked twice around the magnet and in between the two cracks had shifted to one side sticking out further than the rest of the magnet. any advice would be appreciated.

If it had gotten dropped how could the magnet just crack like that one day?

the box jumping a little? or the were two screws loose. so the warranty most likely wouldn't cover it? And what made the box jump "a little"? Im not sure. It wasn't screwed into the truck or anything. So how exactly were you driving when you cracked the motor? Was the box shifting and sliding all over the place? Sounds like it was your bad though the way we're having to pull information out of you. It might have been my fault but I wasn't driving I was just sitting in my drive way with the trunk open showing it off to a friend.

He needs a new motor. And the only way that should have cracked like you describe is if you dropped it. I didn't drop it though how much would a magnet and a recone cost?

Haha good point man. The only thing is, I was reading up on the recommended enclosure sizes for the Q and since I'm doing a sealed set up to save space the sizes for the enclosures were like .2-.6 for a 10 and then .8-1.6 for the 12. But, I think I may just end up going for the 12" just based on the fact that I'll probably hate myself if I don't. Seriously tho, does a 12 hit that much harder/louder? i imagine that a 12" would hit harder/louder because the 12" has more surface area than a ten.

I am wondering if a brutus 1600 watt is a good amp, i heard it is over rated. I am soon hoping to order eather a Fi BL or Q dual 2 ohm. I'm just wondering what some people know about it?

im looking for something you can buy at walmart or something like that for my trunk, to help stop the rattle and help the sound out a little? any suggestions

here soon i will be getting another amp most likely a sundown, and the amp i am running now i will be running 2 gauge wire and im wondering when i get my other amp if i should use a distribution block or run more wire??

I would go 1.1-1.2 gross, per, for the 12Q. Works great for me. 2ea 12Q's firing forward into the rear seat in a mid sized four door car. K it would sound better faced toward the trunk
