    Fi Q 18"

The peak power doesnt matter, just try and match the rms of the sub to the rms output of your amp.

    Q options

Alright, thanks for the quick replies.

    Q options

I was going to run 2 18" Qs off 1000 watts to each. (The amp is said to do 2000w @ 1ohm, but it could do a little more. It's a Lighting Audio if it matters.) Do you think the Qs with no options would work fine on this amount of power? I probably wont upgrade my amp to anything bigger, unless I go with a whole new setup.

    2 18 Q's or 2 18 BL's

I dont mean to jack your thread or make a new thread for basically the same topic, so i'm basically in the same boat as the other guy. Im wanting to go with the same setup but I only have 2000 watts to work with. Do you think this would be enough for the BLs with no options or should I go with the Qs with (whatever) options?

    Fi Q vs. CVX

I know i didnt cover every variable but there basically going in the same setup.

    Fi Q vs. CVX

Between two 15" CVXs or two FI Qs. Do you think that off the same power, 1000 watts each, both in a ported box in the same vehicle, (tahoe), which do you think could get louder? I know it depends on the install but they're basically going in the same setup. Which do you think would get louder and sound better doing it? I think it would probably be the Q but I havent heard either.
  7. Well, i got it from onlinecarstereo.com. Are you saying that the 490ib has to have the mounting sleeve or that the models that do have to have it usually come with it?
  8. Im installing this unit in a 2001 tahoe. Im having trouble with it. I bought an install kit, i think the # is 99-3002. But i think it might need a mounting sleeve for it. Has anyone had any experience installing Premier headunits, im not sure exactly what i need?
