I have a Fi Q12 in 2.5 cubes tuned to 32Hz. I dont like the way the box was made so im gonna make a new one with left over MDF. I have max demensions of 38 wide, 14 height, and 14 depth. i still wanna tune it to 32Hz but in a smaller enclosure like 2.1-2.25 cubes. So any plans will help. Need 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot of volume. also what difference would there be in a smaller box?

before i start, i want to make sure these are the right pieces. 35.75 x 12.5 (1) back 14 x 12.5 (2) sides 20 x 12.5 (1) port 10.5 x 12.5 (1) port 32.25 x 12.5 (1) front 37.25 x 14 (2) top & bottom

Not sure about the port area. all i know is its 2.5 in wide and L shaped. I am going for daily driver with SQ but can get loud. My cousin built it and all pieces dont align very well, glue everywhere, and the MDF is starting to split. (how do you get it not to split?) I rather just start fresh and make it alittle smaller and get the extra trunk space. It is going in a Nissan Pathfinder.

is there any specific way of wiring a Fi Q into 1 ohm? Its the dual 2 ohm. Do I wire to one speaker terminal or both? wiring diagram will help.

I need box plans for a Fi Q12 (dual 2). It going to be powered by a Sundown 1000D. I want it to get loud but also have SQ. So Im thinking tuning it to 32hz. Fi recommends 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot of volume. The demensions I want to use are 14.5 H, 28 W, 18 D. (can change alittle)

Is 2.3 ft^3 enough for a Q?
