If you run it passively, yes. Actively you would want a 4 channel amp. (100.4?)
-
Quality is subjective.
-
Eh, I wouldn't risk it. Why don't you get 2 woofers that allow you to wire them in at 8 ohms?
-
Haha, how long does your battery last on that thing?
-
Yeah, why not! Lets have one!
-
That's pretty ghetto.
-
You should get a wagon to pull around and toss a sub woofer in there for your bass.

My buddy has a w6 and I'm in looooooooove with it.

Let me see some pictures. I remember some of these around when I was in middle school.

I would disconnect the rears completely. Active the signal is processed before amplification. Passive the signal is processed after amplification. If you want to run a tweeter and mid in each door (4 total speakers) you need for channels of amplification for active. Passive you will only need two.

1) Fi Q 12" ( Dual 1 or 2)? -d2 2) 1-1.5ft Sealed ( Advise for size or difference between 1 and 1.5 ) -I built mine to 1.2 when I had my Q....I liked it. 3) Sundown SAE-1000d or RF P1000BD (Don't Know which is best) -I'd go with sundown. 4) Speakers to replace stock - ALPINE-SPR-17S Comps -Check out Hybird Audio on these forums. I've heard nothing bad about them! 5) Need an amp to run them (Undecided) -i'd pick up a sundown 100.2 if you want to run passive 6) Some chitty 6x9's to run of HU 50 watt ones cuz they suck anyway. Get like 20 watts to em? -I assume this is rear fill. In which case, I would just ditch those and spend the money on a nice set of front speakers.

Haha, yeah, way to vague. Let's have some more info!

I think what you're looking for is something to get pretty loud, but not sound like absolute crap. First off, what is your budget?

Building an enclosure for my JL w6v2...

I don't think a crappy prefab box will do it justice though. Build two boxes so you can swap it whenever you want! -
How'd they break?

What subs did you get?

Okay, so one of my roommates at college has Cerebral Palsy. He gets around with a cane, but also has a http://www.southwestmedical.com/Mobility_Scooters/Three_Wheel_Scooters/Pride_Sundancer_Scooter/805p0. And he decided he wanted to "pimp" out his scooter. So I started with the easy option of putting neons on it. The scooter has two sealed batteries on it. Now he mentioned he wants a stereo on it, just something to make a little noise. Just a CD player with a set of coaxial speakers will be fine. Now I don't want to run the CD player off of the two batteries that are on the scooter. I just don't feel like running anymore things off of those two batteries. If you guys think it's fine, let me know. So this is what I'm thinking: A small sealed battery, a CD player with a remote, and a set of coaxial's. He'll have to pick up a a wall charger too. No budget really, but the cheapest solid route would be the best. Am I forgetting anything? Are there any road blocks that I will run into? Thanks guys, Ryan

Haha, there is no alt on it. It's just battery operated and charges ac->dc. I was going to come off the back of the trailer hitch and mount the cd player/battery/speakers in a fiberglass enclosure. He's only 100lbs so weight isn't really an issue...lol.

Yes, it is a 12volt system. I wanted to do the stereo on a completely different battery that doesn't, in anyway, tie into the scooters.
