OKAY. YOU are seriously becoming much, much more annoying than DSB. Where did you draw this conclusion from?
-
well, something nice and crisp, pretty high end, not like 'focal' good but you know, not like wal mart stuff. want it to be able to blend together. maybe SEAS? also, how good are pioneer tweeters and mids? not too expensive, but are they worth what you pay? i was lookin at the five-way's.... Okay, you just listed pretty much all the options. haha. How would you feel about going active?
-
ya, it really doesnt measure up to the awesomeness that is the tbird, huh? Yep, you're right. Let's not make comparisons here, I'm aware of what the bird is. I just don't picture a sedan when I think Lambo. It's the same with Ferrari.

That great news! When you say "you will need a Warden to win," do you mean that it will be THE woofer to have if you want to win the competitions? (As in no woofer will touch it)

Go to ROE.

Could you measure of the dimentions of your truck and see if you could possibly squeeze 4 15" Q's into a ported box. You also could probably fit 6 12's in there.

First off, calm down. Just like all of us here, he is here to learn. Yes, some of his ideas are rude, inconsiderate, and stupid, but instead of tearing him to pieces every chance you get, be constructive. Help him learn, show him why some of his ideas won't work, or are not good ideas at all. He is getting better.

I think you have conflicting interests, but from the list you provided I would go with the Havoc.
-
I like the idea of the 15's, but I am curious as to if they will be louder than 2 18's ported. I would wait for more input on this also.

Why don't you pick up a SAX100.4 and go active with just the amp? What exactly are you looking at for a front stage?
-
It's all up to you, really, as it is your vehicle. I think the 4 SSD's would be pretty cool in a wall.

Battery Wiring
ABXX49 replied to JoshM20's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Are you always supposed to use an isolator from the front battery to the rear battery as well? -
I agree with Jon, you guys should act your own age and grow up, let him be 14. Stop being arsehos. Thank you. And Jon, i dont get the logic either, i take advice, and i am wrong for doing what they told me to do...? Update, car is falling apart, even shakin the back seat loose (it doesnt fold like a normal car, it is bolted down, with a thing in the middle that goes into the trunk. The left tail-light is coming loose, and rattles up a storm, as well as something under the car (probably a bad thing, seeing as for the past three days we have been trying to figure it out, and have come up with nothing...) what is the best price-to-product ratio for sound dampening materials? only ones i know of are dynamat, d-amplifier, and hushmat. hopefully, it isnt a buttload of cash and we can deaden relatively soon, rattling is heard over the bass but other than that, we need to get some door speakers, and some tweets. and oh yeah, an amp for the doors, dedicating HU for tweets directly. if anyone has any suggestions, just....uhh....well post teacher is coming up to my row, have to go thanks for any advice, -Chris Look into RAAmat for your deadening needs.

WOWOWOW, That's a tad ridiculous in my book.

Do you have any videos of this thing you could upload?

Underclock Eff Dell. <-- runs a DFI; however it is been clocked for four years and still working well. Not sure if Oscar is still designing boards for DFi, but if so I'd imagine that they are rather easy to play with all potential clock settings on. My theory has always been to clock it up a bit, all it does is where it out faster but hell I can't tell you the last time a processor I had wore out before I wanted to upgrade. At this point though the machine is still more than fast enough for surfing the net and playing music so I don't see the need to upgrade. Like Jim, my next PC will be a silent one with a goal on being whisper quiet for use in the living room as an entertainment center. I love my DFI LP board, makes OC'ing a breeze!

Awesome, might have to look into these. Your company is going great places Jacob!

Man, I wish we had that probelm here every now and then. We're lucky if it's cool on Christmas to need a coat or something other than shorts and a t-shirt. Cool campus though, the view is awesome Yeah, after 20 years of snow...it gets old...haha

The ground at my school was covered in frost a 9 this morning.

If you go with any of the previously mentioned ideas, you'll have what you are looking for. Build the box to spec, don't skimp here.

You're going to be hard pressed to find a 'good' amplifier to put out the power you want for under $400. Could you go with 1 15" BL and put the rest of the money to a SAZ1500D?
-
With what you want, I would get two fully loaded BL's and the 3000D. Look into upgrading your main battery and also consider a secondary cell.
-
CEA That makes no sense whatsoever. Birth sheets mean squat. Okay. Edit: Is it a requirement that all amps have to be CEA certified?
-
I would, as would 95% of this forums I bet. What are you paying for the RF?
-
There aren't any regulations on what companies 'rate' their amps at. I'm not positive on what one of those Hifonics put out, but I'm sure that it isn't 2600 watts. Rockford usually rates their products pretty close to what they say. (usually underrated, i.e. RF rates the P400.4 at 50X4, my birth sheet says 76x4)
