It does create a huge blind spot. So yes, it is dangerous. Something you'll have to weigh though.

Those wouldn't disrupt any airflow there. It looks like you're using resin there. Why don't you fiberglass the corners?

My buddy bought a 52" Panasonic plasma. I think it is right on par with my 46" Sony Bravia. Hard to tell the difference really, but you can. I don't think you can go wrong getting either. Would glare be an issue in your room? -
Electrical Upgrades for my System necessary?
ABXX49 replied to faezich's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You're fine in buying the BTL. I would run 0/1 wire and do the big 3. You have a Kinetic. Try it out and if you're dropping voltage, you need to add another battery. (Or a HO alternator). -
That is going to be loud. Very loud.

Does he have any plans to upgrade is electrical? 3200 watts won't sit well on stock. haha

Capitals aren't necessary for every word. I would go with four 8's. Do something unique.

Yeah Duran, watch it! I sat around on ROE for a few months before I found this place......Thank God I did, for I fear what I may be like had I stayed there..haha

Noob Electrical question

Contact Ohio Generator. They are a little bit pricey, but make a great alt. -
Well I ordered one of my two Deka Intimidators last night, so whenever I can order another one I'll be good, except for the box. I've been trying to get this box just perfect for over a month now and it is kicking my butt. I might just have BJ or Trevor built it for me. Can't go wrong having one of those guys build you a box!

And patience. The first few you build will give you a headache, trust me. After you build a few though, your confidence will shoot up!

The reason a lot of people use vans is because of the space inside. With proper deadening and eqing you can turn anything into a SQ car. (not that anything can't be turned into an SPL vehicle.)

Well first thing is you're going to have to make a choice on wood. MDF or plywood. About the only benefit to MDF is that it is cheaper than ply, which is why most people use it. Tools that I find very useful are: Screw gun, hand saw, table saw, square, router, clamps, and a straight edge. You will need to pick up wood glue, and the recommended brand is "Titebond 3." This stuff is great. After getting my wood set up I measure out my pieces and draw them on with a pencil. Measure three times, cut once. Try to set your pieces up on your board so you have to make a few separate cuts as possible. I like to cut ALL of my piece out first, but some will do it piece by piece. The big thing here is to make sure that all of your pieces are square. It's very hard to make a good box if you screw up your squaring. After that, start gluing together. Make sure that your pieces are squared up when you clamp. Check squareness after you clamp too, because sometimes it will move things out of square. I usually let my pieces clamp for about 45-60 minutes before I add another. I personally don't use screws on my boxes anymore, the Titebond is just that good in my opinion. To each his own though. Building a box is very easy, give you have the tools. Just make sure you think everything through a few times to make sure it's right. Anymore questions I, or someone else will be sure to give you an answer.

Cool project. Wish you had pictures. I was very close to doing something along these lines (for fun), but went another route instead.

Can you get a picture of what you're working with. Maybe we can give a suggestion. -
You're heading in the right direction. I would DEFINITELY do the big3. Instead of ditching the Batcap800 for now, I would try and upgrade your primary battery. Look into maybe a Deka, Optima, Kintetic, or Powermaster. (dependent on budget) Everything else you mentioned is a step in the right direction.

I know you're not looking for advice from "skinny" guys (5'9" 170), but I'll share my little 'success' story. Right when I graduated high school I decided I wanted to get in the best shape of my life. I did it very plainly. I cut out ALL sweets from my diet. I relaxed a little on the weekend, but for the most part I was very strict. I worked out once a day (weight training with 1 body section and did 20 minutes of cardio) Within a 1 month time period I went from not having abs to having a very visible six pack. What I mostly contribute it to is the diet. What Oldskool_08 mentioned above is great advice and I would give that a try. I know you're a busy man, but does your schedule permit any definite exercise?

Looks good, keep working!
