It depends on how much current you're going to be drawing. That would be a good sized box for a BL 18. If you run a 1500D on that you'll probably be fine with a nice sized starting battery and the Big3.
-
There is absolutely no way to tell. I'm just trying to stay within budget, maybe keep a little extra cash in your pocket if possible.
-
Have you thought about doing a single 18" maybe? Do a single 18" BL on a Sundown 1500D?
-
naw im adding wiring seprately most likely unless I can still get a good system with it included. Now air space hmm not sure but its a 4 door explorer and they will be placed in the trunk. Well if you're considering anything over 1000watts it's also time to start thinking of replacing batteries and adding extra ones. Do you have an OVERALL budget?

You can always just file away until it will fit.
-
Okay, good. In that case, there is help here. You have $1100 dollars for subs and an amp. Does this include wiring, fuses, etc? Or is that already purchased. How much air space do you have to work with?
-
I don't know if I completely agree with this, but I do understand where you're coming from. 1.5kW will be enough for the BTL. It does give you room to upgrade your amps if you're not happy.

You're looking to wake up your neighbors? Great. I really think you need to reevaluate a few things before you're ready for such responsibility.

From your headunit to your amp? Or just an 18awg wire to ground your amp?

Looks great! Makes me want to start my Icon build over Spring break!

HU Install Question
ABXX49 replied to kasimo420's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
There is someone on here that has done a new 4runner. I want to say Audible Customs did one, but I can't say for sure. You could try to search for 4runner builds, and PM the builders. Or maybe someone will just chime in. -
32Hz is a good daily setup. Whether or not it will sound good facing one way or another will be up to you. Try both ways.
-
Your electrical isn't dependent on what subs you're using....What amp are you running?
-
China or not, we all know Jacob would not sell a product that he won't stand behind 110%! Aren't most, if not all, boards made over seas somewhere?
-
When you set your gain on your amplifier, have that knob set to max. This allows you to turn down the bass, but not turn it up too far. A lot of people use these in that manor.

newbie question :/ about component speakers
ABXX49 replied to [email protected]'s topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Your question is not clear enough. Do you currently have an amp? If so, which one. You do not need an amplifier to run component speakers.
