Belt driven supercharger. Neither do I. Surprisingly, there were even more on there that I've removed, but ran out of time to get the bottom ones. It's one of many changes that will be made over the next year. Several months from now, the car will look nothing like it does now. Ryan, haven't gotten the filter out yet, it will probably happen Friday as I have the day off. That's cool. No hurry, I just took the air silencer off and noticed the huge difference. Thinking adding the K&N is going to add a touch more. I'm starting to get the performance bug. MOAR POWER!

Curious as to why it would be a turbo not a supercharger. EDIT: Makes sense now. Just looks nothing like mine.

Wait, is that a turbo I see??

Nice lookin' ride, Ryan! I'll see if I can dig up some pictures of my Uncle's 35th anny. Did you ship that filter out yet? Not that I'm in a hurry, I just want to know to look for it.

I was out enjoying the wonderful weather today! Got the mower blade sharpened, the mower cleaned up, and the oil changed. I pressure washed the porch and hung out with Dad for the rest of the day. I'm poooooped. Is your dad doing better? He's getting much better. He's home again today. Confused quite a bit, kinda unsteady gait. But he is making progress. He shouldn't even be alive really, so I'm thrilled with where he's at.

How something sounds will be completely dependent on the box. I, still, would get the Shiva-x and port it to about 20-25Hz.

A 2' cube is 8 cubic feet. So that will just give you a rough estimate.

Damn. On stock?? What do you drive?

880 electical help
ABXX49 replied to ABXX49's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
After reading on the SCCOA (Super Coupe Club of America) forums I think I've chased the problem to a bad DIS Module. I'm going to go ahead and buy one off a guy there, as a new one is nearly $300. -
Okay, let me start off by saying I've installed a countless number of CD players in cars. This is the first one I've had trouble with, and also my first Pioneer. I bought an 880 off of ebay a while back for about $200. I initially installed it in Octoberish. It would work fine when I normally had the car running, but when I switched my lights on it would cut in and out every second. I attributed this to a couple of wires being switched. (The first wiring diagram I had was wrong.) Well I eventually got this fixed by switching the two wrong wires. My CD player would now work with lights on and off. However, when I would switch from on to off my CD player would cut out for a second and restart itself. It would then play fine. (The other problem is that my CD player seems to have no track memory. It remembers my fade and volume settings though.) New problem tonight. I took my father back to the nursing home tonight in the 'Bird. I took him inside and got him situated and took off when he fell asleep. About an 1-1.5 hours. (Worked fine on the ride over.) I went back out to my car and turn my key but my car made no effort to start, not even a click. So I returned the key to the off position and cranked again and it fired up as normal. I turned the CD player on and it worked for like one second and then turned off. At this time I had my lights on. It would then restart, beep 3-4 times, and then open the faceplate up. It wouldn't eject the disk, rather it would just sit there, open. Within 10 seconds or so it would close itself, try to turn on, beep, and open up again. It did this nearly the whole way home, but eventually quit. And by quit I mean quit. It just sat black. I get home and restart my car. My CD player would work if I had my lights off, but if I turned them on it would do the beep and open thing again. I figured I might have a voltage issue? Well I ran downstairs and got my DMM. At the battery it measured 13.62 volts with the lights both on and off.

I've looked around and older btl's had 2 magnets and fully loaded with 3 magnet option. I believe this is right. If I remember, the 3rd magnet was an option.

Happy birthday, Mark! Enjoy it!

Xcon in my opinion. 1. SSA customer support is UNRIVALED! 2. It's new. It's awesome. Not many people have it.

Oh, I thought you bought it new. It does look like an older style BTL though. I'd wait for someone with a bit more knowledge on the Fi subs to chime in. If it is a BTL it will handle 2,000 watts. I'm not sure how to tell if it has any added options.
