Why do you want us to go to ca.com? Do you know where you are ? SSA forums are way more instructive, reliable and serious. Just tell what you like, what you need,etc... and you will receive very good advices!!! I went to ca.com onceor twice, and I was really disappointed : lot of talks, bad talks,... In my opinion there is too much teenagers (or teenagers in their minds!) on this forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been to CA one time, and one time only.

Huh? Oscopes aren't for ears... Of course amusingly I have used one on a cadaver ear, well sort of. Used the scope to look at the response of a measurement laser tracking the motion of the temporal bone. It wasn't a person though, just an ear. oscilloscope not an oscope. i just noticed it has the word oscope in it so i asumed it had something to do with sound. You may be thinking of an otoscope. Come on that's an auriscope The wonderful English language.

Are they the same people trying to sell the Adire site?

Impressive! Got some serious output there

I built a HT box for a 15" v2 mag. 5.5cuft at 25Hz. Words can not describe how happy I was with it. *I'm able to compare it to an Icon, Dayton HF, and a Paradigm PW2200. I'd take the Mag every time. (Just build larger and tune lower next time )

They are warrantied down to 1 ohm. People do run them lower, but usually for burps. Even though Jacob makes some excellent amplifiers, I wouldn't run .5 daily.

On a positive note, your wall does look good!

I'm curious as to how they managed to give it a blood supply. My guess would be that you have to donate your own blood prior to the surgery. They would have some sort of pump and oxygenating system that would hook up to the pulmonary vein and artery. Just a guess though.

All the vendors here are great. My personal favorites are SSA, Sundown, and Mach5Audio.

12" FI Q vs. 12" FI BL (Daily Use) vs 2 12" Alpine type

I'd recommend the BL for you. -

Unhook your subs from your amp. Turn your volume knob to where you want it and turn your REMOTE gain knob ALL THE WAY UP. Start playing the 50Hz test tone in a loop while increasing your gain on the amplifier. Once you hit 38.7 volts, stop. Plug your subs in. Don't touch your gain knob again. Never turn your HU up past the point where you set your gain at. You will blow your subwoofer.

This question is kinda hard to answer. I guess pick the most efficient ones with the best power handling?

12" JL w7 D3 vs 12"SSA ICON D2
ABXX49 replied to barbarazimmer's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
Box any everything for $250 for a w7 is a great deal. As much as I love my Icon, I don't think I'd pass that up. -
Me too. Make it happen.

Just to be clear, you are going to lose a TON of output going sealed. I do like sealed enclosures, but if you want to bump, this is the wrong enclosure for you. really? the thing is that i use my hatch a LOT, so making the enclosure bigger is going to take up more space, what kind of dimensions you think i would have to have for a ported versus a sealed There is no sure fire answer. I'd figure on doubling the size from sealed to ported. Have you thought about using 2 drivers in a sealed enclosure?

I'd do the computer case fans. Look around at Xoxide for them. They have all kinds of sizes to choose from. Have you thought about using a relay? http://www.the12volt.com/relays/page5.asp#rtol Why is it that you don't want to have a 12v signal?
