There is pretty much only db drag, usaci, and iasca out here on the west coast.

depends on subs and if u have the current to produce it... 2500 is alot of watts for daily... could just be a comp amp

Search the USACi forum on car sound and performances website. This amp is a very hot amp up for debate right now. It's considered a big time cheater amp when it comes to competitions. From my very limited knowledge on the amp, if i remember correctly they only made about 20 or some of them if that. I believe they drop down to .25ohms for blurps but dont quote me on that.

Hey guys... i just went out and bought a new Jig Saw. Mine decided to blow up earlier today while i was working on my new box.... pissed me off cause i would have had it done by now but no it had to die. It was already pretty f'ed up but oh well here is some pics of my new Black and Decker jig saw.

Opps i made a huge mistake.... sorry man 33width x 29depth x 14.5 height Would that port be the same as the one u posted or different? If you could figure out another one for those specs that would be great. Im sorry about the typo. Sorry man.

I need some help figuring out my port lol..... Here are the dimensions... 34x14.5x29 Its roughly 6.7cubes(this is taken with the 3/4 wood thickness). I want it to be tuned to about 41hz(comp box). Can you or someone come up with a port for me? Chris

I would probably say 20a to be on the safe side. I had some neons on my bug when i use to drive it, and i put a 20a fuse on there, it was fine, worked nicely too. Gotta love switches, i have switches on each of my amps right now, yea its only for the remote, but it does help when you just want to listen to the radio and not have the sub amp going.

well the 1501 can be modded for daily drive @1 ohm----a few resistors and a new set of caps----the 81000d is also a good choice for mods---the only thing is that the heatsink wasn't really made for the higher temps it produces when driven hard daily @ that low of a resistance rating. need any more ideas--email me Dave I sent you an email let me know if you got it. Hey guys, this is a question for Dave Edwards but I want everyone else to chime in too. I am considering going with an MTX 81000d or 1501 amp. The question at hand is, if i went with the MTX 81000d I'm gonna get a modded version. Since its modded would i have a higher chance of blowing the amp? Does anyone know anything about the 81000d? Now for the 1501amp... can u modd it to 1ohm? If I do.... what is the possiblity of me blowing that? Does anyone know the rating on the 1501 if u did drop it to 1ohms? And finally..... can the 81000d be runned daily? Has anyone had experiance with them? Help me out
