Sweet, think I got it sorted, retarded email not playing the game from this end
-
Yeah it's more the Ascendant pricelist with a question on the Fi, I was importing the AA subs when the market was better.
-
Yep put a subject in. The pricelist that I had been using is not on the website, that's the retail price
-
yep, tried [email protected] just came back saying undeliverable. No I just need to get the latest price list from him
-
Nick, what's your email address there, the two I have bounce back.
-
well that's bollocks the way it's happened, could you by chance PM me a cost of shipping 3 of the orphans to New Zealand
-
So that's what you do in your spare time lol, watch out Peter Jackson

At long last I finally got my mids and tweeters installed, albeit running off Phoenix Gold passive crossovers but god damn they are nice, I've heard all sorts of others and to be honest so far these would have to be right up the top of the list, once they have had a bit of use and I get some more cable to run them active I'll give it a good tune and no doubt get them even sweeter. I've had them sitting here for about a year!!

Hey, I am trying to get hold of Scott or Nick, I don't know if my emails are not getting through for whatever reason, but I'm also having no luck on the phone, when one of you sees this could you let me know, I have a few customers here really in need of some stuff fairly urgently now. Cheers, Galen Indigo Audio

I went from selaed to 1.7 cuft gross ported for the 12 and what a difference. Scott and Nick both laughed at me when I told them I was still trialing the assassin in the sealed box. They recomended building a 1.8cuft box and tune it to about 30-32hz. It plays right down now really well but is just so musical with it, but not clinical like the old JLw6 used to be. I'm feeding it about 300-400rms
-
Yep they sure do, just find out if there is an importer there first

the black thing is a relay, if I remember correctly, just for muting so you don't get turn on and turn off noises, Greg will be able to confirm or deny it's use. The whitething is a resistor, and yes resistors can get warm, especially high power ones like that

What is the fastest you have gone

My old Mk1 Golf was nut's I had that topped out at the rev limiter in top gear, that was 151mph it made my 79 vette look like a moped. I went round the track in a lotus exige turbo, then a porsche 996 GT3 race car, the lotus was possibly slightly quicker. The best though was a 29ft RV we rented when we were in the states once, it had a V10 petrol, I managed to get that badboy up to just a touch over 100mph by slip streaming behind a big truck that was hauling ass. We had to be about 2 yards behind it to get to that speed as soon as we dropped back we didn't have the power to get it back up, that was one bumpy ride in the wind. -
To be honest the XT4000D is not going to cut it. You'll get between 1200-1500wrms at 1 ohm, the problem is that the rated power drops to 450rms at 2 ohms, so as soon as you get impedance rise in your box your sub is going to be getting buggerr all power. I have one in my car at the moment and it's noticeable when compared to a 1200wrms amp that only drops to 900 at 2 ohms. I was selling US Amps and while they are pretty solid, that was one big let down in those amps. If you had a sub that was rated for say 600wrms then the amp would be fine, but you need to feed the monster. I had an MT12 built for around 4k daily the new BTL are even badder

Well it was a couple of years ago now that I ran an SX in comp but 147.4 with 2 RE12.1 amps on it, Street A
